Question about Duelist

Guys it's my first hellbound server so forgive plz the noob question.

I play a Duelist so i'm used to get weaker every single update, anyway i'm asking you ppl.
In Interlude sonic move required lvl 2 or higher sonic focus but it would use none to activate, i mean if i had lvl 2 sonic focus and used sonic move i woud remain with lvl 2 sonic focus. Now it uses 3 sonic focus lvl's, i mean if i have sf lvl 8 and use sonic move i'l remain with lvl 5 sonic focus. My question is: is it rly like this or is this a bug or another nerf?
