Black Internet is probably not the only supplier of bandwidth to The Pirate Bay, so it may be possible for them to reconnect to the Internet elsewhere. Whether or not another Swedish supplier would even consider doing that is seriously in doubt.

They sold the site to someone else for many more millions than they were charged. They'll probly only do a short portion of their one year and then go somewhere tropical and never work again. I just started a torrent from thepiratebay.org just moments before reading this.

I don't see the site going down for a long time.

Yeah i heard that the company they sold it to are gonna launch a legit site within the year where you pay for your downloads.

Incidentally does anyone know another good torrent site that has TV-shows with a nice registry the way piratebay had?

Well if the trial is over, and the piratebay.org is exactly as it was before. I'd imagine it will be some time before we have to make paid accounts....which almost no one will do.
