isn't there some kind of chat ban for this kind of thing?
if he was using all chat it would be easy to just filter it out, but shout is what we use in the market... :/

no, I wasn't the only one who was bothered.  and I only asked if there was a chat ban, not any other ban.  actually, I like some of the songs whose lyrics you were typing, and probably would have enjoyed it if you could actually sing them without flooding the chat channel...  I only wish you had used general chat, so I could have filtered it out and been able to see the trade shouts.  also, it would have been ok for a few minutes, but over an hour and a half?

yes, there is, and if everyone used it, that would work.  however, most ppl use shout instead, so to see what they write, you can't filter out shout.  which is why spammers should use general, clan, or party chat for their spam, as a simple matter of manners.
