Attribute on armors works?

I am wondering about this issue myself, for now I have only lvl 4 resist divine on my armor, and I didn't noticed any difference, maybe because most have lvl 9 on their weapons.

Regardless, MasterGhost told me that if u have lvl 9 on ur armor, and ur attacker has lvl 9 on his weapon, dmg reduction is only about 10%.
I dont know nothing yet 4 sure, I will test some more after I reach lvl 9 on my armor.

Oh and another question, attacks from BD, SK, etc are attribute related or not? because a SE/BD hits me with the same dmg , from freezing strike skill, even if I have resist water or not on me. So I would really like to know
