Spending the same ammount u can make a PA/WL and will be much more usefull to a clan for PVE and PVP than ur mage on DC + AM+A. 

this dude dont seems to be in a clan/ally that participate in some bigger events like sieges/land bosses, else way he would use clan/ally forum to ask what is needed. So i guess he need a char to play, and it will be way easier to gear mage for small amount of coins to farm/even pvp more efectivly

1st of all u need to decide what kind of char u wanna play, main DD (nuker) or support char.

To decide what kind of char u gonna play u must consider some things:

- playstyle: on this u also must consider if u play alone, with friends, clan
- equips available: rly important this one cause a support char can be played with average A/S grade equips, but to play as nuker u must have good equips
- what kind of char ur clan needs: ofc if u have clan

If u decide to play as nuker u have some rly good options, i suggest SPS char and u can choose sub to EE (rly good on self buffs) or ES (better casting speed and reuse delay of skills). Another interesting option would be SH/PS u will have the better M. Attack IG and a great casting. SPS is more about magic critical rate than m. attack.

If u decide to play as support i suggest some combos with OL (CP spam for clan/ally) or BP/Tank. Another interesting option would be BD/SE, its a good class to play as support for clan (most of clans dont have people who play BD/SE as main char atm).

answer abut playstyle, clan style, ur will first:D

and yes for occasional pvps an even middle stuffed mage  can be useful in pvp as buffs and resists play a lot... but it turns useless in front of a quite buffed and resist buffed team.

It's clear now for new players without money the best way is to come in an established clan and to participate as "assist/healer/buffer" (no offense in those words). BD/SE SWS/EE BP/TANK BP/WC ... are surely more welcomed even with middle stuff rather than a a big necro/DA in a full mage pvp party ;p

if soon we can have sub DN on retail of our main char, we should see funky combo  bishop/spoiler FTW!
