hm...it appear to be a corrupted file?
Try delete Unistall Game and Delete L2 folder and Temporary Files, then restart PC.
Run checkdisk after that.
Reinstall the game, and download the Loader again.
Make "Full Check" and play.

PS: Try to run game as "administrator".

Guys, if u running on Windows 7 seems there is a problem with GameGuard files (Even if we don't use them)

Try download this file GameGuard.des http://blog.integrii.net/programs/GameGuard.rar

After u download it extract ofc, then go to ur system folder, rename GameGuard.des that already exists in there to something like GameGuard.desbak (make a backup is the idea) and paste this new one GameGuard.des and try to open L2.exe, maybe if u open the patcher it will download again GameGuard.des, I don't know, and i haven't tested this yet because I dont have Win 7 or even Vista.

GL w8 ur answer bcuz if this work maybe is the FIX for Win7 users.
