You can simply add the specific folder and any change in it to exclusions.
I use avast ,did that and i don't experience any problems like that.

about avast, i dont see why you blame it; it just make his work....
prevent you about some strange files.....

about security in DN:
L2W(or any cheats) works without any by-pass; and a hacker visit at least 10 accounts a day since update ( GMs cant catch him, they prefer to give hacked account some coins to replace hacked items)

If you are not using 3rd party programs such as l2w etc.. you have no worries about your account, so why should i care to protect your account if you use them?
Bypass for those, clearly you dont know much about this things, takes unlimited time to make them but takes 15min to crack those bypasses so overall i prefer catch them and ban them then waste my time on this.
About security duno what to tell u, dont use them and u wont be scammed .

Dont have a pc with antivirus please (there are other free ones) please download one of those.

if u dont DL any files from any of your ally/clan/forum buddies; your account is safe....
other way, the one/some who make money here will continue....

75% of potential 3rd users will disappear.... so 75% hacked less....
