Attribute jewel chance is about 7% [+/- 2%, in weapon; in set You have a better chance to put in a jewel].

my experiance is that on vesper weapon its like 30-40% (i amde attr on 2weapon)
on s grade weapon rate is kinda sux its around 10% or a bit less something strage there

From my experience, I can tell you that jewel success is the best (around 30%) on vesper and a bit worse on icarus. On dnet dyna, or simple dyna, its hard as hell (5%?), and its even worse on simple S grade stuff.

I checked it on S grade weapon's fighter (HD,SS - where SS had the worst chance to go in).
I checkes it on S80 grade weapon mage (d.mace) - the rate was a bit better.

if it is about 10% rate, you can failed with 40 tries

today i had 5 success in 39 tries and i feel blessed

GM made his decision = easy to get jewel = low rate = many tries = happiness in the end

but cost of jewels will be higher then cost of weapon.. i had same, fists (demon splinters )costed me  11 dc, lost like 10 dc for crystals, jewels and fists still 315 atr ... seriously is way to low,
newbies that start playing here  will buy max weapon +3, and no sense to make atr there, couse it is too expensive...
