How to BUFF CORECTLY and GENERAL things you should know about pvp!

General Info

Get all buff slots possible: it's rly important to have Divine lvl 4 on ur char, u gonna be able to get 24 buff slots, with 23 buff slots it's still possible to PVP, but ofc it's better to have 24 slots.


Keep some slots free: those slots will be taken by trigger skills (Counter Critical, Protection of Rune for example), Mana Potions and some skills that work for small time (UD's, UE or Touch of Life for example). I consider a good idea to keep 3 slots free all the time, this can prevent ur char from being overbuffed in the middle of PVP.

Toggle skills don't take buff slot, but some of them consume mana, so try to control ur mana if u using Toggle skills.

One more important thing on PVP is about Attribute System.
Armors can reach 240, but weapons can reach 540. So it's rly important not just ur weapon with 540 but also ur armor with 240 and buffs that gonna increase ur defense status against those Attributes.

Elemental Protection / Songs of Elemental r rly important on buffs and also Protection of Elemental and Alignment.



Fighter Buffs

This setup starts with 14 buffs and we gonna keep 3 slots free, so we gonna work for the next 7 slots. Using CAT BUFF that is rly important we gonna have 6 slots FREE.

Combat Haste Potion will take slot of Haste (PP) or Chant of Fury (WC).

Those slots gonna be used for other interesting buffs, selfbuffs and potions.

Your selfbuffs gonna depend of the class u play, but here r the most important selfbuffs that can be used:

- Majesty

- Deflect Arrow

- Deflect Magic

- Focus Power / Focus Death

- Rapid Shot

- Dead Eye

- Duelist Spirit

- Thrill Fight

- Iron Shield

- Soul of Phoenix (if u have this buff u don’t need nobles buff)

For pots u can use P. Attack, P. Def and M. Def

Some other interesting buffs to have:

- Clarity

- Resist Shock

- Divine Protection

- Fire / Water / Wind / Holy / Unholy Resistance

- Salvation (if u have this buff u don’t need nobles buff)

Remember that on ur song/dance slots u can use 12 slots, and there’s just 11. This last slot gonna be used for SONG OF PURIFICATION.



Mage Buffs

From this screen we have 16 slots, from those slots only Mental Shield and Divine Protection could be deleted if u want, but remind that when u don’t have Mental Shield u gonna loose protection against DEBUFFS.


It’s interesting to have a Elemental Summoner in the party, so u gonna have Unicorn Buff. On Mage pt u can switch COV for Magnus if u gonna fight just mages, but since most of PVP’s u gonna find mages and fighters it’s better to keep COV.


Let’s consider 16 buffs, so it give us 5 buff slots to work, for selfbuffs, other buffs and potions.

As selfbuffs we gonna find the most common:


- Majesty

- Deflect Arrow

- Deflect Magic

- Iron Shield

- Salvation / Soul of Phoenix (if u have this buff u don’t need nobles buff)

- Freezing Skin / Blazing Skin

- Empowering Echo


For potions u can use Regen (good for support classes), M. Attack, P. Def, M. Def and Combat Haste Potion.


Some other interesting buffs to have:

- Mana Gain

- Resist Shock

- Divine Protection

- Fire / Water / Wind / Holy / Unholy Resistance

Remember that on ur song/dance slots u can use 12 slots, and there’s just 10. One slot gonna be used for SONG OF PURIFICATION. Also u can use Dance of Bladestorm, but remember that u gonna have low M. Attack while on Bladestorm, this dance can be used when u need to reach some archers and debuff them with seals and NE debuffs.

But for PVP isn’t just buffs, but also debuffs. Debuffs on PVP r one of the most important things they have nice land rate and make a huge diff on damage.

But for debuffs I gonna make another topic explaining the effects of them.

I might add some other info later, so u can expect some updates here.

So before you complain about dis-balance of the server and that you die in 1 hit from XX/YY class make sure you did read this topic! This topic will be updated later on with more info ,tutorial and walk-troughs .
