I think the best for all in general the best option would be 1 main + 2 box, but it would be more democratic vote.

for me it would be 1main+1box - it's golden rule, it makes solo players or even teams to log 1 support that is enough for farming, while preventing some maniac(s) to box full party and do FoG trains.

As he said we are still discussing this matter, he didnt said official statment yet. However i wonder what happened with players actually playing supports as active chars? Why supports always has to be bots, not everyone must be dd-s you know?

The clan that will have active support chars will rule the server. Only solo farmers would ask for 1 main + 2 boxes so they can have 6 chars. Personally I think that even 1 main + 1 box is a lot since there is stack sub so u would have 4 classes on u... allowing boxes will ruin sieges and mass pvp...

If you want my honest opinion, boxes shouldn't be allowed at all. I have the best memories playing L2 from the times when I played on Nightmare, simply because there were always competition for everything(at least when I played there from early c4 until late IL), but I enjoyed playing the early levels on bfdr(before everybody started sandboxing) and the official server a lot more, because dual boxes weren't allowed and you could find a party anywhere with any class, even if you didn't had a constant party or you simply played at weird hours for some reason. It's simply more enjoyable playing with people, even with randoms, than logging in your own box army and farm alone.

If main+2 boxes or more are allowed we might as well allow people to use bots or enable npc buffers...
