Graphics card is mostly limiting factor if you have high settings, e.g. high resolution, anti-aliasing, highres textures. You can check your GPU usage with GPUz or RivaTuner - if you turn down detail settings and it still shows 100% then you need a better gfx card.

Second, it's not like CPU wouldn't be needed for games, Mr. "computer engineer". Plenty of tasks in games are calculated by CPU, creating whole scene before it's rendered, animations, physics and collision checks, AI, sound. To check if your CPU is limiting factor, use CPU-Z or simply windows task manager.

I guess you will have hard time to find a job with that "professional knowledge" you show.

Well since he's a failure as engineer, he could scam in real life too, since his scamming knowledge is on much higher lvl than his computer knowledge

In fact l2 depends of cpu   / ram  #hardmode even hard disk (ssd) to load textures faster and funny thing is l2 is not depending of 1 thing guess what...gpu It's no bro science.

If you doubt on what i've said, i've to explain why i've said that... i'm not a nerd that read sh1ts online and then re-write it, i work on this things, people don't get neither some ironic proportion to explain like GPU is 8x time more importan respect to CPU (8:2). Cuz i read of people saying i've UBER PWNZOR pc 16 gb of ram, i7 3.3GHZ and then a 2gb dedicated graphic card and then asking why the have such fps... is better to have 4 gb ram, i5 process an an excellent graphic card to enjoy a game, especially a game like our l2 that is 6 years old, in that case graphic card is, how i've said, the most important component so far. I'm software developer and also worked in game development already, what you posted is absolutely wrong so stop big words here. Want few examples?

Outcast (very old but best example) was 100% calculated by CPU.
Minecraft almost entirely depending on CPU.
Planetside 2 shadow calculation done by CPU.
Lots of RTS (Starcraft, CIV, etc) and modern RPG/MMOs depend a lot on CPU.
Flight simulators.
Most Valve Source games being CPU intensive.
...

The list goes on and on. While on a bad graphics card you can still turn down resolution and graphic effects, can't do that with CPU usage. 2% is ridiculous, you have no idea about how software works, and think the graphics card is magically doing all the work in a game?
