Hi, im an old player and i kinda want to start again.
But i cant find anywhere when the HB update is going to go live.
last announcement was 20th of february.
since its changing chronicles does that mean its a fresh start or did u find a way to implement the old database?

I like you already, but the 'soon' reply is just joke about the staff from the past when they had some big problem and had to delay update by a lot.
Nevertherless we as community do not know the date yet, thats why HB OBT is still running. All we can do is sit tight and wait for staff to finish all the fixes and announce the update.
And about the "fresh start", there will be database moved from actuall IL server, although GM's already said that if you start new you will not loose much as server will be fast progressing into late game and PvP oriented.

@Admins seems like you yourself dont know the answer as you would have replied by now if you knew. Thats no the problem, ETA is just an estimate, i would like to know when do you think at this point in time, when no complications happen, will the server go live?
P.S: and i really do think they are working on it as they have retail-like Hellraiser going live soon too so they technically need to do the work once for both servers

You may never leave. And your assumtion is false, I believe they are working on it. They just can't give you an ETA. ETA could be progressed if you join and do some beta testing for them. ;);)

But they can say us an answer or something.. I pmmed Track by a private message but he didn't answer me.. They said that they would give us some
NEWS (not the opening) in April but they haven't done it yet.. All are waiting, more and more people are bored to wait for 5-6 months without news and most of them is leaving server.. I think that we should know when the server will be ready .

If he is not telling or replying, im not somebody to tell what's going on with his life. He should be back 10~ May. He has a life event on this week, so do I nowdays, files are close to ready for launch. As he will announce the concept we add the required potions, npcs and we are good to go.

I wondering why the players shouldnt let know somethings about server By STAFF. is it hard to tell something or answer questions?, almost half years passed to we heard about upgrade news. If you guys aren't ready for do new things. you shouldnt promise somethings to do then. I respect about his life its ok.. But most of ppl no have more patience. You guys already lost/losing something from start. Now think about that how you guys will be successful with server :)

There is work going on of course. I'm full time back here. Drake has been told about obt down. I need that machine up first so I can access and adjust remaining script issues, which is quite few. Until then some client adjustments will be done(HB) + updater.

I do spam him daily and I feel bad in a way about it, but I'm trying to do my best believe me. I have interest of course, since I "ordered" already official autoupdater and acc system registration from Drake (through Track). You see what I have knowledge to, I do it, like I added temporary autoupdater. I'm fixing scripts to match HB as much as it can be, no other orders I have at the moment and to be honest nothing more I can do. I need Trackzero for these things, you need to understand this.
Hope the project is moving forward. Would be glad to see any news about the progress and, most likely, when we could expect the update. Meanwhile I'd exp my PP/TH a little ;x
BTW, do you remember folks how many troubles there were with making server go at first place 'cause of the hosting problems? Do you remember how we've waited for Tarantula and it's great start? It took some time, bah, feels like good ol' days 8)

as far as I know it was some kind of german provider, you know the troubles with no access no reply etc
currently we are using ovh, not saying the best, but they are 1 of the most well-known providers

I can't write enough times, if I could make this work and launch I would do. Sadly, my knowledge and access are not go that far to make this happen. I need Track and Drake in order to provide this happen. Eventually it will be opened, no matter what. We have a lot work and money in it already, believe or not. I have my requests from both devs and this admin team regarding missing features and proper setup. What I can do on my own I continue to work on. Isn't it a bit strange that mostly I'm the one answering here? If he would have free time I guess he answer you too, see the same thing is happening in real when I'm trying on phone, the only difference I got 1-2 reply sometimes.

I/we are back, and development of projects continues. However looking at Tarantulas current situation for past few months , speaking in population and finance terms, is quite shockingly DEAD.
Tara reached a point where it can not be saved , nor any upgrade can bring it back to life. Yes we can satisfy 20 people (*if im wrong please prove me differently ) but we wont give it a long life for the future.
We are building a new system where u wont need to grind nor farm, but actually just pvp 24/7, thats why this new system will be applied to completely new server sometime in the future.
We will continue with HB, as its nearly ready. I/we have to catch-up firstly with all the issues players have/had - to solve them, then we will go out with statement which kind of server and its features will start first.
Until then you can discuss things on forum, of course in borders of common sense and good behavior.

Wtf Track serious? You're ridiculous. I say only this wrong.. You made us waiting for 7-8 months for updates and now you said that Tarantula has no chance. Why don't you make changes before when server had a chance to become good as before? Now all we know that Tarantula has no chance because there are online only 20 and less people so also with update server will never become as before. Obviously I want a server with a good population but I don't stand that you dropped out of Tarantula in this way after your promises.. And now you want to open an other new server but after 7-8 months we don't know anything about the project, what do you want to do and what kind of server it will be etc.. . I can't believe that for admins: Honest player who has got items on account = player who sold items on ebay or allegro.

there was kind 3-4 full clan's waiting for the update HB on tarantula... and 1 clan that has items that are the same than other 3-4 clans... think on it!!
also think that DN is a company of SUBSTACK server it isnt a Fail retails server... if i wanted to play retail server i we're find another one... cuz trust me.. there's alooot of Retail servers... and my and my friends (we are 5 in total) was playing as honest way getting jewels... and we all have normal items Tall set's ext... that wont make a big diference... with those 4 clans geared... think about that!!
u could think even on nerfed to sometime if u think that our items will make any diference... but how u going to think on let us without items??

We are not doing any wipes. However reasons are pretty much simple. Server itself cant pay the bills for almost 6 months now, current situation on server is that we have 10 players online?
We had our things in rl to solve add on that other things that affected on cutting online amount and you get this kind of result.
We could upgrade Tara to HB , but it would only bring 10-20 people from this topic (i can even name each one of them who will join), and will that raise a server and help it gain population? Definitely NOT. Not a single serious clan would join on "old" server, even i still claim that Tara is a young server. All this above is simple logic and common sense on both sides (players and admins).
guys I kinda understand what u're saying about this closing Tara - u got items and kept them even if it wasn't profitable, all of u we're w8ing for this update to play and pvp again, and now T0 comes and says kk time to close, we can't keep it up. It's like 90% of time on DN - they promise smth, then they do it after half year at least, or are not doing at all coz of xx reasons.
But I'd look on it from the other side - how long didn't u see any response from Track on forum? he's the main GM etc on Tara, and I doubt he would not respond, even with few words at least once during this time if he hadn't some serious reasons behind it (like his personal life). So right now, i guess instead of just blaming him, u could also say to him "welcome back" or smth like this ;) and I hope right now that his master plan will be success and they will make some OP pvp server where I won't need to spend months to get geat by farm pve, but pvp.
PS: naah, im not defending him - i'm still pissed off on him that he left Dragon on Glasy's mercy >:( but he is also human guys...

I/we are back, and development of projects continues. However looking at Tarantulas current situation for past few months , speaking in population and finance terms, is quite shockingly DEAD.
Tara reached a point where it can not be saved , nor any upgrade can bring it back to life. Yes we can satisfy 20 people (*if im wrong please prove me differently ) but we wont give it a long life for the future.
We are building a new system where u wont need to grind nor farm, but actually just pvp 24/7, thats why this new system will be applied to completely new server sometime in the future.
We will continue with HB, as its nearly ready. I/we have to catch-up firstly with all the issues players have/had - to solve them, then we will go out with statement which kind of server and its features will start first.
Until then you can discuss things on forum, of course in borders of common sense and good behavior.

u cant even move our actually items to this "NEW" server?? cuz well as i say i we're played other server if u we're say that some time ago, and dont waste my and time of my friend hiving them hope, staff giving us hope... or at least make a deal with us?? the actually people playing... or u will just cloose that server??.. cuz ure giving us a "HOPE" saving DB of tara... but it is not a really hope... actually player's was waiting hopefull the update and farming cuz of that... we at least deserve to get a DEAL moving or keeping or items blooking them while the server is increasing (im talking about LatINosProxl's CLAN) cuz it is unfair start again from 0... ofcourse the sever coulnt pay the bills... cuz it take so much time to make a update and you loose so many people... just tell us if u going to do something with DB of tara... if u wont, them we just have to leave...

A server like Arena will be good. It was funny, I played there with my brother Alfy. People there had only to farm a bit and the remaning time was for pvp. Maybe with mutant but they should be balanced. But the best thing is to copy Tarantula's database there for people, also me, who spent time there or at least the equip like RB jews, weapon and armor+++ etc. . If you do this, I think that this new server wil be awesome because it will attract old players but also new players who will see a serious PVP server with mutant or only stacksub. But Retail system server is bad because there are so many servers with this system, DN had success because Drake invented this stacksub system and DN is typical for this. So why do you want to create project/server with a thing that also 200 servers and more can offer us? In my opinion it's nosense.

If Track/Drake would want to transfer existing items from tarantula to the new server, they would just upgread it w/o making a new one. What's a point of making a "new" server and then transfering there all the items from the old one. I think they will find a solution for all of you(i still have like shitload of coins, but i don't give a freak about them, since i preffere to pvp on new server w/o "these hard earned items", than pve with full items on the empty one, like most of you), so you can keep the items and keep killing raids and epics for "fun" like you did for over a year already here lol.

I know, since me and my clan left this server more than a year ago, cuz it was dead for months already(And it wasn't
MOSTLY due to admins lack of interest, but carebear clans, which didn't want to fight us). There's tons of pvp servers, but there's pretty much none on Hellbound chronicle and not even 1 with stacksub.

Copy-pasting anything to newly opened server is actually the most weird thing i have ever heard. There is several critical reasons why not to do so. If you want , i can explain it more further, but i suppose you can recall them as well.
Camping bosses is normal in MORPG games, these jewels are not mandatory, so if you aim high then you have to do some effort as well. Shell we make re-spawn time shorter on new server? Definitely yes. It will bring more action and more pvp we all aim for, and on top of that majority of players will be able to get/afford those jewels. Ultimately it will bring strong enemy and more interesting pvp.

Arena server was successful at that time, times changed. Literal copy of Arena at this point wont bring any success. But, we will make an interesting server, players friendly (*by saying that, i aim for low grinding/farming, constant actions, friendly donation system, cash-out system for the players, and other pvp things ).
About servers restarting each 4 months and where players joining every time, well..... i guess it speaks more about those players. Im sure such server admins are happy somewhere counting dollars, but i cant blame them, its you players who keep joining on such networks. Luckily , DNetwork was never like this and it will never be.
I do agree on marketing and voting, its something we will definitely do for new server.

If its not about items, then why some people in this topic botted and collected all the jewels for months accumulating them over several accounts? We all know why, and yet they keep pushing their egoistic interests to upgrade tara, while we all know it wouldn't change anything in players count.
New server will develop in following directions:
- We will step out with features
- We will discuss with normal/mature players about it
- We decide date
- *weeks before opening we start strong advertising campaign
- If you dont want to "WASTE YOUR TIME HERE" , feel free to go, but please dont inform us about it because players who do care and will play has nothing from such "important" info.

Lack of interest i wouldn't say, but actually level gear gap that was created between "no-life" and casual player. Either way, i do agree on "stairs from heaven" clans, hopefully new server and its features will force stairs clans to fight for their glory.

I think that you should consider community's people opinion because they allow the server going forward and in my post I didn't criticize DN community but I gave an opinion about the new server.. When will you give us some informations about this project? Because I want to see if I'll come back because I don't want to farm again like in Tarantula ;)...

We are in 2015, there are plenty of new games which gives instant action for few hours then log off and prepare for tomorrows real life things.

Define "craft server" ?
I guess it's something like a retail-like way to get your items but boosted rates.
Example x25 craft-server, everything you need to spoil, farm (recipes,mats) but on incrased rates
Server wont be "farm" orientated , but you will be able to gain items in other ways. Of course , there will be some crafting as well, but dont expect grinding and camp fest.
good choice btw my clan wont play that new server... we we'rent spended 3 months farming as a fk in a dead server if u we're say it before...!!

good choice btw my clan wont play that new server... we we'rent spended 3 months farming as a fk in a dead server if u we're say it before...!!
Server is almost empty, market in game says all how many ppl play there. Soner or later your 3 months farm could mean really nothing. On who You wanna use your farmed items, on mobs or players?
The truth is, you cant make from actual online on the server some huge online after chronicle change or any other changes. Was time to make it long time ago, now is too late.
I undearstand reaction of some players, make ppl wait for a long time and later come with totally different information.
A btw, its just my opinion, it doesnt mean I not wish good luck, but if new server be only pvp oriented (go fast farm and pev pev), then it will die faster than you think, admins.

I don't see a point in a high rated rated easy mode server.
You might say low-mid rate servers aren't good anymore because people don't "have time", but most high rated servers last 1-2 months.
And was Tarantula really that unsuccessful (being a low-mid rate server) ? Did it not sustain for itself financially?
It started pretty well, then it lost alot of people because of poor settings at the start, but the changes you made prove that the server was doing well considering after the 1 month downtime the server actually managed to regrow from 100 to 900 players by September (which is an accomplishment in itself).
People that don't "have time" shouldn't be looking at Lineage 2 for entertainment, they should be looking at casual short games like League of Lesbians.

our hands are tied too, new features for new server are already discussed - ordered to extender, once we get the updated files Track will surely let you know all features and infos
once again -> we need the eta from developers side
I can also say that cause we don't post anything or reply that does not mean the project is paused or abandoned. There is a lot effort in this project (HB files) not only work but financial side too.
Cool features coming, this server will be the only unique Hellbound around, not just because of substack but it's not going to be the usual retail thingy just like any other networks opening a project with boosted rates ;)
