Title: How to Stack your Subclass?
Post by: Kryptexx on November 17, 2015, 03:13:51 AM
Just figured this would be a good area to post this! I always see posts on which classes are good to stack, but not any posts on how exactly to do it!

Anyone have a clear explanation on how?

To do Stack-Sub you need the Longhorn Horn lvl 78 the quest and the third class of your desired class... you get the quest at the npc in giran than you go fetch the horn. To get horn there are three following ways

First one: Get 1200 Moonstone Shards and exchange it for horn in ALT + B than exchange
Second one: Get the horn from the Golkonda in ToI (Unless you're in a clan killing golky this way is hard)
Third one: There are For Quest Longhorns Located close to Orc Village, Aligator Island, Elven Fortress and Angel Waterfall...

Links with map to all four.

Forgot to mention there's also two types of subbs
The classic Sub-Stack and the Mutant

Classic substack is where you chose the sub from your own race for Example you're a Sps and you chose the stack sub to be elven elder, this way you can get 85
ANd there's the mutant where you start as a SPS do a retail to necromancer and then sub the necromancer to elven elder. And mutants can only go up to level 80 ( so no FS and such )

Hope this helped.
PS: You can't delete a sub once you take it so chose wisely

One other question. If you choose a stacked sub do you delevel to 40 with all skills?

And if my main class is HE and I stack a subclass, will I still be able to learn forgotten scrolls for HE if I get them later on?

No you don't de-level any more but you can't do sub on 76 like before and ofc, you can just switch classes and slap them FS's

i just want to clear up that the max lvl80 isnt tied to mutants but retail subs. so even if you take retail sub sps, stack it to ee, your max lvl will be 80.

Not really, mutant = cross race sub. Can be done only on retail, yes, but you may still make sub in same race on retail and then it won't be mutant - altough it's still limited to 80th lvl.
