- All Epic raids (*excluding Orfen ,Zaken , Baium) have _pvp zone implemented
- Added 7 Golkondas in total , 2 of them Normal ones (+1 Zone added), and 5 quest golkondas. Normal ones will have _pvp zone around, while quest ones will have some limitations to prevent bad players obstructing non subbed players to take it.
- In special pvp/pve dungeon added towers that throws fire on you (high damage) if you camp corners or try avoiding actions

Updated changelog!

EXP/SP/ADENA/DROP rate (Dynamic Exp System)

Tarantula follows a dynamic experience system that molds the difficulty from extremely casual to hardcore with the progression of the player.

For your info here some reference graph:
http://www.dragon-network.net/stats/tar/rates.htm

EXPERIENCE
Server starting rate is 30x, at level 80 it will go down to 4.5x.
Playing in party rewards 110% of exp/rate compared to official.

SKILL POINTS
It starts higher than EXP to allow you to be able to buy any skills (easy mode). The difference between exp and sp will then fall until level 40, where SP rate will stick to EXP rate until the end of level progression.

ADENA
By checking the graph you can follow up that Adena multiplier does:
at start (lv1) adena=100%exp rate
at end (lv80) adena=60%exp rate
Please remember that adena drop rate is 100% (where official have just 70%)
The Adena Quantity does not follow the PARTY EXP multiplier, this means if you want zero adena issues for your level, mostly at level 1-30 and in your first playthrough, we suggest also to do solo sessions to not outlevel your adena.

DROPS/SPOIL RATE
it have indipendent curve, lowest is 2.5x and max is 7x.
Regardless of the multiplier, an item does not have more than 100% rate of drop (take this in consideration for the level difference penality, applied AFTER the 100% limit!)
Considering that most common droprate (on a 1x server) is 20-40%, this translates to:
lv80) around 40-80% chances of drop something beside adena
lv60) around 56-100% chances to drop something beside adena
lv40) around 81-100% chances to drop something beside adena
lv20) nearly 100% to drop something beside adena

SPOIL QUANTITY
When a spoil % rate raises post server multiplier to over 100%, the rate is caplimited to 100% and the quantity of items droppable is increased proportionally with the % multiplier in excess.

HERBS DROP
Herbs drop have a constant rate of 6x rate

QUESTS
QUEST REWARDS are 2-3x EXP and 2-3x Adena Amount
Many QUEST ITEM have 200% chances to drop

DYNAMIC DROPS BALANCE (not enabled at start)
After the first month, once enough data is collected, we will start also the automatic drops balance (affecting only crafting elements).
Some items will drop with less/more frequency. The system will detect the global distribution of certain items and based on their amount on the market, reduce/raise their drop chances.
This will not affect Spoil, that will remains indipendent and consistent for the whole game experience.

----------------------------------------------------

DNET SUBCLASS SYSTEM

DNET Subclass System allows you to have two classes to cooperate on the same character (sharing skills) to enhance your gaming experience and diversivy even more the gameplay.

When?
Subclass system is available from level 78.
Is required to be in the 3rd class job.

How many subclasses?
You can sub both MAIN and RETAIL subclasses (up to 4 DNET subclasses). Your MAIN subclass will not be removable, the RETAIL ones can be removed by simply remove/change the RETAIL class.

Which classes i can choose?
You can choose the new class (regardless of MAIN or RETAIL) from any 3rd class of the SAME race of the class you are when subclassing.
This means, as a Spellsinger, you can subclass only to other Elf classes and as a Paladin only to other Human classes. This regardless of main/retail.
The new subclass is already a 3rd class so you will not have to do extra quests for it.

Experience Cost
You will go back to level 40 once subclassed (at level 78 with 0% exp). Subclassing at an higher level will make you keep those extra experience, making you go back to a much higher level than 40.
For example:
level 80, 0% exp, will bring you to level 79, 28% exp.
level 80, 100% exp, will bring you to level 80, 28,77% exp.

Quest Item
The quest item is same usual flavour:
a) you can obtain the special tradeable quest item from Golkonda Longhorn in TOI.
b) you can obtain the normal not-tradeable quest item from a member of Longhorn family. There are 5 of them, one for each starting area (you can find them there)

In case of the normal quest item, the reward is given to the last attacking PARTY. From 1 to 2 quest items can be obtained with a single kill (more party members translates to higher chances to get 2 items instead of 1)

----------------------------------------------------

TATTOOS SYSTEM/LABORATORY
(CUSTOM POTIONS?)

First of all: there are no more custom potions.
The whole potion system have been replaced with the Tattoos System, that have been fully rewritten and is not like the previous one at all.
http://www.dragon-network.net/stats/tar/tattoos.php

Tattoos types
Exists mostly two kinds of tattoos:
a) the ones that gives bonus to a stat and subtract the same amount from another stat (or, halved, other two stats. In case of EMP tattoos)
b) the ones that gives a beneficial passive effect of regeneration (being HP or MP) at the cost of the "tattoo slot".
The first category is similar to the one DNET players are most accustomed, the second category instead fills the hole of the missing custom potions for Mana/Healing/Regeneration.
Examples:
Tattoo of +10%PATK -10%PDEF: Gives +10% to Patk and removes same from PDEF.
Tattoo of Mana Burst: Gives a constant 15mp/sec
Tattoo of Mana Recovery: Gives a constant 90mp/sec, with a drawback of -50% on patk/matk/attackspeed/castspeed.
This means you will have to manage your tattoos (equip/unequip) during a fight to get the best out of them.

Tattoo Levels
Leveling of the tattoo is done inside the laboratories.
Tattoos are distincted in 4+1 levels:
Level 1: life 3h, normal tattoo +STAT -STAT (balancing two stats by % value), power 1
Level 2: life 4h, normal tattoo +STAT -STAT, power 2
Level 3: life 5h, normal tattoo +STAT -STAT, power 3
Level 4: life 6h, normal tattoo +STAT -STAT, power 4
Level 4 EMP:  life 6h, empowered tattoo ++STAT -STAT -STAT, power 4 (higher bonus to a stat, taking the amount from other two stats)

Tattoos Life/Energy
Tattoos have a life/duration.
Their "energy" is drained while using them (like shadow items) and their duration is based by their level.
Their life energy is consumed by keeping them equipped, unequipping a tattoo (or not being online) will NOT consume their energy.
Every time you level up a tattoo, their energy/life is restored as new.

Laboratories
Laboratories, accessible in every grocery shop of every town, allows you to purchase your level 1 tattoos and to increase their level up to Level 4 EMP.
Every time you level up a tattoo, their energy/life is restored as new.
Initial purchase of a tattoo will have an adena cost, additional levelup will cost adena and some materials.
Level 4 can be upgraded to Level 4 EMP with the use of a Vial of Enchantment obtainable in the new special PVP area (drop from the bosses or by collecting PVP points there).

----------------------------------------------------

SKILLS BALANCE

As you know, we take great care about the balance of the subclass system and the interaction between skills.
This is why we had to prepare already some fixes to prevent some clearly overpowered combinations.

-PVP limiters: normal attacks (autoattack), physical skills, magical skills have a damage reduction (in PVP) of 25%

-Resurrection: all resurrection skills (scrolls included) have AT LEAST a 40% exp recovery and builds up by +5% each level (resurrection lv9 is 90%) (you can have WIT modify this value up/down to reach 100% exp recovery)

-Basic Weapon Mastery, the one you get in your first levels, is shared between all classes. This means no stacking of it doing Mage/Fighter.

-Armor Masteries are gathered around only 3 skills, this prevents from stacking of different kind (mage/fighter) of same armor mastery.
The level given of the specific armor mastery is dictated by the pdef given by that specific level.
Additional (class related) effects (evasion/mp regen/etc...) from the mastery are obtained from extra secondary passive skills (example: "Light Armor Evasion Mastery")

-Recharge skills can charge self and other players even if they have this skill. self effect reduced.

-Mana Burn: reuse 24sec fixed

-Frenzy/Guts: can't stack with Totems. They replace eachother.

-Fast Attack: attack speed given only to fist, dualfist, dagger, bow (this skill is obtained only by fist/bow/dagger users).

-Diseases from area: fully reworked and max bonus given is 4%. All of them have drawbacks (Malaria included)

-Quick Healing Potion: it gives 44hp/sec for 10sec

-Angelic Icon: pdef/mdef bonus is by armor type (+50% in heavy, +20% others)

-Guard Stance: the pdef bonus is given only toward heavy armors (shield bonus is given to shield regardless of armor type!)

-Focus Death/Chance/Power: critical rate/damage scales with weapon (full effect only with dagger, other weapons 60% of effect from back and no bonuses on the side)

-War Cry: it gives +25% patk (as usual), except it gives only +15% to bows and +10% to daggers.

-Duelist Spirit: bow/dagger gets an attack speed reduction by 10% while this effect is active

-Focus Attack: (previously this skill was giving the bonus only to pole) now it offers half effect (crt. dmg only) also toward other weapons (up to +10%). bow/daggers receive also an attack speed penality of same amount (up to -10%)

-Erase: chances of effect changed from 60% to 50% (landing remains 80%). Reuse now is base 60sec instead of 32sec.

-Majesty: scaling by armor type

-Deflect Arrow: Is no more a long term buff but acts as a "stance effect".
When active, scaling by protection (here written is lv4 = 40% protection), cast speed on robe is reduced by 25%, attack speed with daggers is reduced by 20% (from lv3, also duals gets a reduction up to 20%), blows rate reduced by 20% and bow range by -25%.
Duration of the effect is 2min (easier to manage the negative effects), skill activation reduced by 33% (instant), mp cost reduced by 75% (seems big numbers but scales right ingame)

-Shield Fortress: when this toggle is active, reduced Critical Damage dealth from dagger weapons by 15%

-Dash: skill reduces bonus by 50% if used with armor different than Light

-Ultimate Defence: bonus given based by armor type (best on heavy)

-Soul Guard: bonuses scaling with armor type (best on robe/naked)

-Ultimate Evasion: evasion based by armor type (best on Light)

-Vengence: defence was based by armor (best on Heavy)

-Blinding Blow: speed buff by armor type (best on Light)

-Aura Flash: similar to Aura Flare, gives to the caster a reduction in PVP magical damage for the next 3 seconds after the cast by -33% (in old DNET was -50%)

-Blazing/Freezing skin: target must be in same party

-Any buff or positive effect is not castable toward a RaidBoss

----------------------------------------------------

ENCHANT SYSTEM

The whole enchant system have been changed with a different structure of chances.

What means is that you can finally enchant your armors like your weapons and the difficulty of enchant is progressive by each +1.
Enchanting using NOT BLESSED scrolls have a much higher chances of enchant (but at a great risk) and chances never go lower than 50%.
Please note that in Olympiad you will not be able to use items with enchant over +6.

Here the full enchant table for your reference.
The % displayed is the chance of FAILURE.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Al15aDmbKPTTdEpNT2xCMGx1OTVDMUtTdFpBczlNVHc&usp=drive_web#gid=0

For your reference,  officially it WAS (chance of FAIL, no scrolls difference):
Fighter Weapon: 40% up to lv14, then 75%
Mage Weapon: 50% up to lv14, then 80%
Armors/Jewels: 33%,50%,66%,70%,80% (respectively at +3,+4,+5,+6,+7)

----------------------------------------------------

OTHERS

More things will be revealed in the next days and during the opening, for example the various PVP events and new PVP areas dedicated.

The previous list COULD (and could not) be subjected to changes (nothing extreme) if required during the initial game phase.

SPOIL:
Items that, after the extra 1.5x (equip pieces) or 2x (materials) have more than the spoil caplimit (that is 99%), rewards higher quantity.

Examples (unspecified monster):

Regarding the spoil chances, i guess it requires some explanation for who did not followed the topic related to it:

The Beginning:
Initially we had "just" dynamic rate curve and generic craft mats had 3x max quantity

The Complain:
Some people complained that, by unluck, item had a bad feeling of spoiling because ok you was getting 1-3 quantity (instead of 1) but chances was 3% so over 100 mobs usually 97 was empty. Bad Feeling and ragequit.

The First Solution:
Change the boost from quantity to a boost to chances (using correct math approach so the conversion rate remains same (1% rate = 2% max quantity))
This way, over 100 mobs, instead of have 3 lucky mobs that can give you 1-3, you have 6-7 mobs that each of them gives 1.
Is a bit better feeling as you feel more rewarded (less empty mobs).

The Problem (second complain):
The spoil is caplimited to 99% chances, so items that was already at 99% (or near that value) had NO benefits from the change of "quantity-to-chances".
The First Solution was basically giving more reward toward mid-low level monsters and basically zero boost rewards to high level monsters.

The Second and Final Solution (right now active):
When adding the extra chance, the value that goes over 99% is considered Overflow.
The Overflow is then recalculated and feeded back the the max quantity (same ratio 1% chance = 2% max quantity)

examples spoil of Crafted Leather:
here it overflows (with the boost it was going over 99%) so the chances are caplimited to 99% and quantity is raised accordly:
http://www.dragon-network.net/drop/npcinfo.php?from_level=0&id=21395&server_id=1

here it does not overflows (under 99%) so the chances is raised but not the quantity:
http://www.dragon-network.net/drop/npcinfo.php?id=22051&server_id=1&from_level=0

The values you see on Monster Finder are already final and fully calculated.
(Spoil skill level may reduce the % of spoiling from the enlisted values)

The system, this way, seems pretty solid and fair for all levels and i dont see further development required over it (finally i can focus on other stuffs)
Enjoy your spoiling!

SUBCLASS QUEST CHANGES
To enhance the PvPvE experience and give more opportunities of engaging  PVP conflicts we applied some changes to both quest golkondas and TOI golkonda.
Both spawns are now announced serverwide with a global message. TOI announce is specific so you will know he is there waiting for you, while the quest golkondas have a more generic approach and will require you to find which one is (or rely on the website that is updated only once every 10 minutes)
TOI now have a much lower respawn time, offering a respawn that is 18 hours (instead of 36h!) becoming a more centric point for engaging fights with a great reward.
His alive status is also shouted few times every hour (ONLY inside the Tower of Insolence) to remind you of his presence in case he is still alive waiting for an opponent.
To give more focus in TOI and balance the higher respawn, we randomized more the respawn time of the scattered quest golkondas.
Quest golkondas respawn every 32-72 hours (instead of 32-56 hours) but still always at least one quest longhorn available around every 12 hours.
The death time of quest golkondas have been removed from the website, but the status of dead/alive remains still visible.

TATTOOS CHANGES
The prices of tattoos have been adjusted to remove the requirement of crystals.
The price from level 1 to level 4 is basically the same as before but the crystal cost have been re-distribuited around other materials (or different quantities of existing ones)
A noticeable change on the EMPOWERED Lv4 tattoos: their cost is now massively reduced to make them more appealing choice once you up your tattoo to level 4 (still requires the Vial of Enchantment obtainable only in Garden of Eva)

(level 3 tattoos are currently not available ingame until next reboot/update that should happen within 24hours)
Title: Re: Changelog/Updates/Add-ons

FULLCHECK REQUIRED!

TATTOOS
- Tattoo of Mahum (Crt. Damage) got a new progression curve 8%,12%,16%,20%,40%. This means the tattoo now gives twice the bonus of Tattoo of Ogre (PAtk) while dealing a Critical. (Mahum is better than Ogre when the Critical Rate is higher than 50% or when you rely on burst damage)

- Tattoo of Wall (Shield Defence) got a new additional effect: Increase AGGRO by a chance when attacking (scales with the level of tattoo).
It also got a better progression curve from 10% up to 80% (in case you are a tank with a good shield, this tattoo could be a better choice than the Tattoo for PDef).

RAID BOSSES
- Respawns have been changed for all raid bosses to remove the extreme advantage of dualboxers with lv1 dead character monitoring the respawn.
All RANDOM respawn windows have been massively shrinked to make every boss a great gathering point for everyone (and not just extremely hardcore or "char-cam" users)
This should bring many more PvP encounters.

GARDEN OF EVA
- All towns now teleports you directly on the cliff inside (external ring)
- All doors open/close time have been halved
- The random teleport cost have been changed to Adena instead of Mark of Andarta
- Added Shining Bow exchange (from Draconic Bow) to the rewards (500 Marks)

BUGFIXES
- Banish Seraph landing rate have been adjusted to Interlude (same rate of Turn Undead)

Please fullcheck your client to get the latest updates.
Some changes have been made on tattoos after this month of massive testing over them.

TATTOOO
Tattoo of Rabbit rewritten: now the two paths are "+speed -mdef" and "+speed -pdef". The % remains same. (all current rabbit tattoos have been changed to one or the other)

Tattoo of Mana Burst: different curve (but still lv1 is 10mp and emp is 50mp) that encourages progression with a growing 30% bonus each level instead of "reduced bonus" (from 50% to 20%) as was before.
The new curve:
lv1 = 10mp/3sec
lv2 = 15mp/3sec
lv3 = 22mp/3sec
lv4 = 35mp/3sec
emp = 50mp/3sec

Please consider that tattoos are, by design, considered to be used like:
lv1 = lv20 char
lv2 = lv40 char
lv3 = lv60 char
lv4 = lv70 char
emp = lv76 char

Tattoo of Mana Recovery: massive reword on this tattoo. It was a bit meaningless to level up because the initial bonus at level 1 was extremely high for the price and for the designed level (20).
In addition the whole level up from lv1 to EMP was not really worth as EMP was not even twice the effect of lv1 and in fact each level was giving from a maximum of +20% (lv1 to lv2) to a minimum of +12% (lv4 to emp) compard to the previous level and compared to all other tattoos.
After nearly a month of analysis of ingame usage and players gameplay we adapted the curve to fit correctly the leveling progression.
The new curve starts lower and gives 30% increments from each previous level and at maximum level (EMP) the effect have been raised to reach a 200% of ManaBurst tattoo on same level.
The new curve:
lv1 = 35mp/sec
lv2 = 46mp/sec
lv3 = 60mp/sec
lv4 = 78mp/sec
emp = 100mp/sec

Is still a great tattoo (more than 300% of mana compared to ManaBurst on early levels) but at least now it gives more space to recharge classes and it have a meaning to be leveled up instead of sit forever at lv1.

Please consider that tattoos are, by design, considered to be used like:
lv1 = lv20 char
lv2 = lv40 char
lv3 = lv60 char
lv4 = lv70 char
emp = lv76 char

-------------------

SKILLS
The Transfer Pain maximum distance from pet have been slightly reduced by 10% to prevent hiding the pet behind rocks

-------------------

PVP AREA

Whole GoE Area have a 10% movement bonus.
Whole GoE Area every 1 minute gives WindWalk lv1 to everyone (except who have block windwalk debuff)
The three main bosses have been massively rewamped with new skills sets and in case of Kratos and Rakazan, also minions.

GoE now offers 4 new bosses inside the 4 secret rooms, they respawn every 6 hours +/- 4hours (from 2 hours to 10 hours).
Killing those raidboss gives you 1 Fragment of Soul of Andarta.
Collecting all 4 fragments gives you a Soul of Andarta.
You can exchange the Soul of Andarta for:
a) Level up soul crystals (amount of souls required is based by crystal level)
b) more to come

-------------------

BUGFIX
Olympiad area bug have been fixed

Soul of Andarta can be used to enhance various items, for example to level up your soul crystals from lv10 up to lv13 or to refill your tattoos.

Tattoos Refill
Is now possible to refill you tattoos in Garden of Eva!
The base price is in Mark of Andarta and Adena, for lv4 or EMP tattoo is required also a Soul of Andarta.

Price List for refill:
level 1 = 20 marks + 40.000 adena
level 2 = 50 marks + 80.000 adena
level 3 = 120 marks + 160.000 adena
level 4 = 150 marks + 320.000 adena + 1 Soul of Andarta

Changelog:

SUBCLASS SYSTEM
Subclass Quest is now doable at lv76.
Subclassing at lv76 brings you down to lv40.
Premium Horn works as before (you stay your current level)
CLICK HERE for full table of which level you get based on which level you subclass. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Al15aDmbKPTTdDM1akEwTWJyZ1Rra1ZTb0kzb2s4X0E&usp=sharing)

EXP/DROP CURVE MINOR TWEAKS
Graphl View of Current Rates (http://www.dragon-network.net/stats/tar/rates.htm)
Exp/SP curve is basically the same as before except a really minor change on highest level (lv76+).
The ending curve now have 5x multiplier instead of 4.5x
Drop/Spoilrate follows it and engame is 3x instead of 2.5x
This pratically replicates, for endgame, the rates of Infinity server.
So at the moment the current setup of server, comparable to our old loved server is:
lv1 to 30 = Nightmare speed
(transition)
lv40 to 60 = Dragon speed
(transition)
lv76 to 80 = Infinity speed

OLYMPIADS
New month start and as high request now you gain the official buffs that everyone was expecting in IL.
For the whole month will be like this, we will collect your feedbacks for future months.

GARDEN OF EVA
- Raidboss have been tweaked and their HP have been greatly reduced to be a fair challenge against 1-2 (well organized) parties
- The price of refill Tattoos have been widely reduced
- Is possible to reduce your PK counter by spending Marks of Andarta

OTHERS
- TOI PVP area have been removed for the sake of the "Quest"
- Recharge trigger augmentation should work correctly now
- Clientside bugfix for /olympiadstat (requires fullcheck in case)

Missing info from the last changelog:

Tattoo of Undead, Dryad, Blood and Brave, beside the normal protection toward specific effects, offers additionally an MP regen effect equal to 70% of the Mana Burst Tattoo (of same level).

To make it simple:
Level 1: 7mp/3sec
Level 2: 10mp/3sec
Level 3: 15mp/3sec
Level 4: 24mp/3sec
Empow.: 35mp/3sec

fullchecking should update this info in the client too.

I noticed a misleading "errata" in the server specifications about Focus Death/Chance/Power.
The effect is not 1/3 but:

-Focus Death/Chance/Power: critical rate/damage scales with weapon (full effect only with dagger, other weapons 60% of the full effect from back and nothing on the sides)

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
