Title: Error, not sure what
Post by: ltEXISTS on September 30, 2008, 06:07:44 PM
I'm new to the game and I just wanted to test it out.  Figured it'd be better to play on a private server to see some endgame and see if it's worth playing.

I initially installed the L2 Part 1 Garcia version from the L2 website.  Downloaded the DN patch installer thingy and it didn't work.

Decided to un-install and download/install the L2 Interlude hosted on the DN site.  Re-installed the DN installer.  Checked the fiiles, finished downloading all of them.  Clicked Start, and nothing happens.  The Start screen goes away and the L2 image shows up, but nothing happens after that.  The BAKE ICE icon shows up in the tray and I can click launch L2 and all of that Jazz but nothing seems to happen?

Any ideas of what I did wrong or what's going on?

I'm about to try and pull a restart to see if that helps or something but I could have made a mistake and put the DN files in the wrong place.

They're supposed to just be in the "Program Files/Lineage 2" folder right?  I don't have to put them in a DN folder or somewhere else?

Thanks for your input in advance.

EDIT:  Restart didn't do anything/

Right. If you use full-package, you just can extract all in Lineage II folder then overwrite all when asked.

Sorry I don't have any critical solution.
Please try deleting (cut and paste to any new folder) all files in Lineage II/system folder then full check on the launcher to see if any files are corrupted.
