Hey guys. I accidentely found this server. I am a real noob in Lineage(started few hours ago) but I have been playing WoW for 4 years.
What I want to ask you guys is:
Which one of the servers here has the largest community?
Which one of the servers here is perfect for a noob?
Do I have to know some important things when I start playing Lineage?
I will be very grateful if u answer to my question.

well, if u come from WOW i think u will find some difference
i think WOW is quest based.
L2 is grinding (for money exp) and pvp based
if u were playng on retail, i suggest u infinity (other server have too high multiplier..... also infinity is high compared to a retail :D)
dragon has just more player, but mhhhhhhhhh..... too many overenchanted items
nm has a good gm (don't use bot :D )

If u played wow (where u have rly many things to do ) u will get bored with L2 after.... 3 weeks? Grind ,grind ,grind - zzzZZZzz

Oh btw, you are right that wow is quest based, but (if u are crazy enough) u can grind creatures. I really got frustrated after the third wow expansion(WOTLK) because now 90% of the spells are instant, most of the classes can one shot you if they have good gear. Overall PvP in wow now is broken.
One more question... I cant see the level of the creatures. Or is there a level of them? Because in wow there are zones on the map, every zone is for diffrent levels(like 15-20, 20-30) and the creatures are with those levels. Is this the same in Lineage?

There are areas for certain kind of levels, you just need to find them, you can see mob lvl compared to your own lvl when looking at their name, when you target them if it's white, they are close to your level, if they are blue, they are below your level, if they are red they are above it. The deeper the colors the bigger the level difference is.

you forgot the green ones :P those are lower than you but not as much as blue.

in the map (tab) you have a button world info with areas and corresponding lvl of mobs there.
Infinity is THE way ;) less players but quality is > quantity :* dragon players ;)
if need help, use a site like lineage.pmfun.com. Helps starting with mobs, areas...

Androx u sure u never played here before? I have an old l2 friend that vanished like 2-3 years ago, the same nickname (androx/varasha). If it's u, pm pl0x^_^He was playing wow too, GMing i think. If it's not u, i apologize for the confusion.
PS-dragon has the largest community, NM is more "friendly" (less OE items), if u want low rates ofc infinity. Probably dragon is the best choice 4 a beginner
yes, let's don't make a war between servers. All have their pros and cons. Just choose one ;)
I think dragon or nm are better for a start, and for number of players.
Nm is great due to gm activity (but this is subject to change, as history showed)
Dragon is great for number of players (this was always the case) but you'll have difficulties to reach to top equipped players there (this is nearly true for all servers, now. They are old and happily never were wiped)
Infinity has the tightest community IG and forum I think, so think of it for the long run ;)

No, I have been watching pvp movies from retail, I know ppl from retail and they all say that WOTLK failed at pvp. Also I play on private servers that dont have many bugs and I, as an old wow player dont like the WOTLK changes. The only thing I liked is that paladins are stronger, but ofcourse Blizzard failed at boosting them, because they are a bit stronger than they should be. Anyway, lets not talk about wow here :)

Actually the music is from lord of the rings (movie II) its called Lux Aeterna also the music from requiem for a dream this one was adapted to lord of the rings.
Antrox join dragon I was also a newbie in l2 and joined it and it worked fine
I prefer Nightmare over Dragon / Infinity just cos of more friendly community :)

Well im here since.. 4 years ? Time enough wtvr, like some of them said NIGHTMARE rules mainly because of their current game master(s) trackzero & co an higher multiplayer rate for some stuff, till some time ago their gms/community never gave me a true reason to leave DRAGON for them, some less players logged all the time and a community with less oe weapons & armors/wtvr, an auction service ;) some players from dragon tried nightmare and some of them keep playing there, they got some big/nice clans - rates x30 - DRAGON is the server where I´ve always been playing, atm I cant anymore :-\ , lot of ppl since the network started, main server from the community, I can tell you that till today we got several gm´s and they have done lot of "crap" with oe weapons/items/characters & whatever more, never wiped, since some time now our updates arent what we dream about :D but we always get stability to keep playing... sooner or later, big clans/allies/sieges ( bugged or not ;D ) rates 15x - INFINITY... a smaller community made by donators and some l2 lovers, they are growing, dunno much about them I must be honest, seems to be that whos playing there really appreciate what they doing, got me ;) my humble opinion, some tips... Welcome and have fun 8)
