@ Furesy xbox cant be over ps3 since ps3 didnt even show his full power during the lack of games, and about u cracking xbox thats why u are banned perma on xbox live which sux, speaking of crack there is beta crack out for ps3 now as well (i wont do it anyway), and 1 more advantage on ps3 can have linux = total control of console (console? or is it pc ) :D

Had both consoles (+ a wii... but that mostly collects dust) and there's pro's and Con's of both consoles, it just depends how much each one of theese matters to you.
Ps3 Pros
-Small and silent (slim version is small atleast)
-Blu-Ray player
-Free live subscription
-Excellent mediacenter
-Runs Linux w/o problems
Ps3 cons
-Uhmmm.... Not as many games as for Xbox.... yet.
-Costs a little more then the alternative
Xbox360 Pros
-Great live service, good community functions.
-Also excellent mediacenter (if you can live with the noise)
-Cheap
Xbox360 Cons
-Costs to play online
-The D-pad is useless... Try tekken and you'll see what im talking about.
-Loud
-Small harddrive
-Ugly as hell? (personal opinions perhaps.... but you can't say it looks better then the Ps3)
And ofcourse theres like 5 diffrent versions of each out but i was thinking of the most current ones Ps3 slim 250gb and Xbox360 premium sapphire or standard whatever they decided to call it now.
According to my list you would think that i have a Ps3... But i have an Xbox cause it all really boils down to on what system your friends are playing, cause playing alone is soooo 1995.
And yes i realise this wasnt really a discussion of whats better then what.... But i got bored and noone had written anything fun in any other topic :P

Yea totally, I got banned from live cuz I have my xbox flashed, but I don't really care, the people I play with (my friends) I can still play with them through virtual LAN (smth like Hamachi for xbox360) and else I just take my console to my friends place and we play on his bigass HD tv! Apart from that, games for me cost 1 euro each so I kinda got every game you can get for xbox so far =P
But yea, PS3 machine > xbox360 machine, but I still prefer xbox over Ps3, simply because xbox got (imo) much better games :) even Final fantasy coming to xbox :D

I have finished darksiders few days ago and i would strongly recommend you, even they freaked a bit ending of game with boring puzzles without reason, ill say game is 8/10 , recommend.
I got Dantes inferno yday, and i started to play today, game is amazing so far, and story is EPIC , must have.

Force Unleashed is great game. Same for Burnout. I'm only waiting for FFX13 now!
Games for Co-Op which are great are Halo Trilogy, CoD MW2 Co-Op missions are nice and varried, and can be pretty hard, Gears of War 1 & 2 is great as well.
If you're totally bored and have nothing to do, some games which are a great laugh and can be played with more players, even adventure story etc. should try out the LEGO games, like LEGO Star Wars or Indiana Jones stories, those are pretty funny when you have nothing to do and up for a laugh with friends! :D

Ok 1 older game that still holds up great for some split screen action is;
Call of Duty world at war - Nazi Zombies
Once you complete storymode you get a mode called Nazi Zombies, Nazi zombies is basically up to 4 players controlling a base and there will be nazi zombies coming in from all the windows trying to eat you. Each round you will get more and stronger zombies and you are trying to survive as many waves as possible.
On this game mode you need to download Map Pack 3 to get a map called "Der Riese" on this lvl you can upgrade weapons in the "pack a punch" machine. And since all weapons are diffrent once they come out of the machine you have much more variety here.

but if ur bro is a good opponent i would play only Teken, Soul Calibur, DBZ, WWF, Night Round and stuff like that, with him.
Also i used to play Tenchu at ps2 with 2p but dunno if newest version also have this option ;P

I dont know to many 2 players game but you can play motorstorm (u can race on split screen) or burnout paradise (there is party mode).
If u like drink some alkohol from time to time with friends get sing star ;) 100% pure fun for everyone ;)
U can play Little Big Planet by 2 people too .
I heard there is 2 players mode on army of two, but didnt check it cause i have never played this game.
