Everytime im out spoiling for enchants, i spoil a mob it says spoil has been activated.....but no mob turns blue ill spoil maybe 50-60 mobs and maybe 5 will turn blue maybe even less...... pls fix it
Ok so I'm not the only one with this problem (I also made a topic here in bug section).
Some mobs must be bugged .. because it only happens with some of them ..

I think not bugged, but a mob will be blue only if it will give you smht when you use sweeper. Now, cause of 1x spoil rate(yes, it is 1x), it has low chance to be blue. Need to fix the spoil rate, and everything will be fine.
Its just 1x rate.
For example Mirror:
1/142 chance to spoil club of nature
1/142 chance to spoil SoWD
1/181 chance to spoil EWC
Im not sure how exactly spoil works, is it determined 1st which chance will apply, for club, sword or EWC, then u get chance 1/142= 0,7% for example for club, in which case your chances to spoil anything(mob turning blue) are very very low, or each chance is calculated separately one after another, so it would be... 2,64% which is still, pretty low.
So let me ask something because now I'm confused:
Spoil rate affects what?
The probability of spoil the items that the mob has on the list? as you said in Mirror for example
or
The probability of spoil works and the mob turning blue(beeing able to use sweeper)?
I think 2nd question has to do with your charcter lvl and skill lvl, am I right?
I mean, if I can spoil the mob is cuz my lvl and skill are ok for it. So if u are able to use spoil the mob should always get blue or not? ???
Well i played Spoiler on 15x and it happend alot of times to get message with "spoil condition has been activated" but when i used sweeper i didn`t got anything,so can`t tell you what is the rule,but for sure this doesn`t mean that if spoil is activated you get 100% mats or whatever you are spoiling.

No. Only if you will get smth from the mob.

Ok so if I get the message "spoil condition has been activated" that doesn't mean the mob will be blue 100%(what affects that probability so?)
Is there any algorithm that explains how spoil works? I would like to see it ... if someone know or can explain in that way :p
chance to land spoil depends on lvl of the mob and your skill lvl.
Now, mob turns blue only when u get mats/rec from it so u know when to use sweep.
Chance for this to happen are same like in drop calculator(pmfun)
I think here we have 1x rate meaning same chance to spoil as on retail.
Im not sure about quantity rate of spoiled goods, but they affect only number of mats u get from successful spoil.

and if your spoil skill lvl is to low for spoiled mobs the sweeper do not find anything, even in spoil condition is activated
sometimes if somebody in pt use some skills before you use sweeper (for example corpse life drain) sweeper could also find nothing, and mob will not be blue.
my girlfriend is lvling a spoiler on retail .. 44 i think right now ... mobs don't always turn blue even if spoil condition is activated and even if they are blue they don't always give item, i myself never played spoiler but i saw this on her spoiler
Anyway something is not normal or should be changed ... maybe cuz this rate is too low for a x9 server.
Yesterday I was trying to spoil Avadon Robe 100% rec. for like 1-2hours and I got 0 recipes (I got one SSB rec. lol).
My spoiler lvl 49 and mob lvl 54 http://lineage.pmfun.com/npc/20679/marsh-stalker.html
in Raven(10x) for example it was much more easy to get ...

raven had really big spoil chance. Much bigger than 15x.
