If u want a mage good for PVE ur gonna have to make a self sutaineble mage (SH/SE or SPS/EE) if not for every other mage u need a BD/SE.
Now ofc if u so happen to have a BD/SE I sugges make a NE/PP.
Full buff all the time, help ur party/clan, deal nice dmg (no1 buffs against dark ataks), have all rezist for summon, transfer pain, silence works really fine, what more do ya need?:P
SH/PS is very good also, but he runs out of mana very fast, and always needs full buffs, ALWAYS!!!
