You ever heared about theory of probabilites?

Three tries are a little joke, honestly. No matter how high that skill is enchanted, the landing always depends on a certain percentual rate. I don't have the tables here atm, so I guess:
- your chance to silence your friend ~ 10 %
- your friends chante to silence you ~ 60 %

What means this? In theory, when your friend tries it 100 times, 60 times it lands on you. Or if you try it on your friend 100 times, it lands 10 times.

Reality is worse than this. If your friend (with 60 % chance) uses silence on you, let me say 1000 times and it fails everytime, nothing is wrong. The chance this happens, is very low. But it can be.

If you try enchant gear, make attributes, cast a spell, do a skill, open a reagent pouch, ... etc. you need a lot of measurements (tests) to get a good and valid result. The more tries, the better your result. Three tries are nothing. I could rather guess or role a dice to get a more suitable result ...
