ok... i know about 1+1 for farm or for something else.. what about in town? can i log 2/3 my dwarfs in town? or 1+1 whatever u r in game...?
I believe you can have 1+1 active clients out of town and as much offline shops as you want in town, but Tracks confirmation is needed here.

You can have offline shop, i am still thinking to filter them trough IP or not. We shell see.
Just a reminder, more shops in town will make server look more healthy.

Well, that would suck for me, my brother lives with me and we both play....do it by MAC
Filter by IP is not such good idea. How about people playing on WIFI networks ??? I know a lot of ppl playing that way.

I don't really know much about the possibilities to filter dual boxes... but the idea of filter for MAC physical addresses seems very rational. If it is not possible, it would be ideal to find out the way to identify unique player.
Filter by IP address would be rather stupid one and discriminative for people playing on WIFI networks.

You do know i was referring to IP filtering OFFLINE shops per IP (which by the way wont happen) and not the actual dual boxing? Out of the town, as i said earlier, 1 main + 1 box. And just for the record there is big difference when the real player is behind and when is the bot, be assured that no1 will punish you without proper checking (remember GM BOT Police is in the hide mode always , they can observe you and check you while you don't even know about it)

Well 1 IP = 2 chars out of town, BUT , for few of you who play L2 in shared houses , with whole family , etc.. We can look trough fingers but only if there is a real player behind playing. Which we can simply test by many ways .

As far as I know I play alone from my IP when I'm home. I'm not sure about my dormitory, but everybody is playing LoL and CS so I doubt anybody here would play from this IP, so I'm pretty much neutral here, but here is my question:
Let's say A and his brother B are playing from the sam IP. Both of them logs in 2 characters. B has some errands to do, so he has to go out for an hour or so, but they want the 2 character B logged to leach xp in party while he is out. What happens in this situation? We cant really cover all the global issues that may appear, so technically we will monitor situation on the field in concerto (from case to case) and decide.
Offline shops are the best thing that happend in l2.Dafaq is the problem with some ppl really I don't get it...And before some smart ass quotes me... yeah leave your computer 24/7 and when you come from work you find your house/apartment burned from an short circuit ( now some cases irl and they're many to around the world ) and then you'll wonder why dafaq I didn't used offline shop.
where we can find offline scrols from begining of server or do FIRST DAY EVENT ofline shop bonus to each charakter wich start at 17.01.2014 from ip or mac
