Title: Enchant rate in new info.
Post by: hideous on January 14, 2014, 11:09:02 PM
Subject is more or less enchant rate. Describtion states % shown in table is FAILURE RATE, so why Blessed Enchant scrolls have bigger FAILURE rate than normal ones?

Correct me if I am wrong, but something is wrong here.

Nevermind my mistake. /close that.

the point is blessed saves your equipment, not enchant faster
normal enchants are better but you risk your equipment

There should be always 50% chance to enchant, regardless of item and enchant value

Blessed scrolls have a standard failure and is the original curve we planned for the enchants.

Normal scrolls have LESS failure to balance the higher risk involved: lose the equip.
Thats why normal scrolls cant be worse than 50% chances of enchant.

On dragon:
scrolls have same enchant success rate and, for example, to do a +15 weapon you have 75% chances of fail regardless of the scroll.

Yeah, I figured that when it was too late. Might as well lock this topic.
