Not a new thing that the server's been going through some hard DDoS attacks lately, so I want to know if there's anything you're doing to make things right again? Becouse it's bad enough that being from Uruguay I have to deal with disguting delay from the distance to the datacenter, and adding the lag pikes that I get from DDoS attacks makes it almost unplayable, I want to know if it's going to be fixed in time, 'cos I can play like that for some time but not always.

There are no DDoS attacks no more, you have now 3 options to choose , i suggest you to try EU (or eventually RO) . I have people playing from Philippines without any problems, and also you can use this to lower your ping http://www.wtfast.com/ . However even before DDoS you were still connecting to EU (Germany).
Anyhow we are also looking for Brazilian p., and once we find proper company we will enable for all Latin American players .

That is wonderful news to hear, but I still get huge lag pikes which I didn't have before this DDoS attack, can you give me a reason why this might happen?

I have no clue, try flush DNS and use this tool until we get the BR. http://www.wtfast.com/
