Title: Subclass d-level question.
Post by: NunoPitbull on February 04, 2014, 01:28:51 AM
1) Its said that we get 3rd class automaticly when we sub. But if we sub at 78 and go back to 40, we keep the 3rd class?
2) And if we sub at 79 0% from to we d-lvl to? Thanks ;)

EDIT: I know that you can be level 40 and have 3rd class(the skills won't show to learn though), jsut asking here if that will happen, or it will bug out and we don't get 3rd?

You for sure don't even need a reply, cause you have no idea what you talking about.

http://forum.dragon-community.net/index.php/topic,278370.0.html

"Which classes i can choose?
You can choose the new class (regardless of MAIN or RETAIL) from any 3rd class of the SAME race of the class you are when subclassing.
This means, as a Spellsinger, you can subclass only to other Elf classes and as a Paladin only to other Human classes. This regardless of main/retail.
The new subclass is already a 3rd class so you will not have to do extra quests for it."

Now please, can a GM answer?:)

If you sub at lv79 0%, you go back to 72, thats already said a lot of times.
And yes, when you sub you get 3rd job done, even if you go back to lv40.

So My question is...
If u sub at 78 and delvl to 40 what happen with skills? Will they get delvl also (like always did)?? If not... how they solved this?? can i lvl destro to 60 and delvl to 40 and keep all skills from 60??

You keep all your skills on max lvl when you sub. Track or Drake said it.
I dont know about not subbed chars, but maybe it works too. And yes, its good for killing low lvl raids.

well about 3rd class skills i was told by evacuate that u lose all the 3rd skills when u sub and delvl to 40, he told me u have to relearn them once u get high lvl again and suggested me to sub in higher lvls like 79 or 80 to avoid that, if u dont want that u can simply not learn 3rd skills delvl to 40 and learn all (main+sub) once u get 78 on sub :D

You stay 3rd class and you dont lose any skill. (sorry, you lose your skills if you delevel too much!)
In fact, when you subclass, you dont even change class but simply lose the horn and some exp.
Then, talking with Astral, you are able to switch class to the new one you choosed (that is a 3rd class too)

Just make a table on a sticky post shoing the level and % needed in order to sub to level X.

Current level -> Sub level
if X will sub to level 40
X -> 45
x -> 50
etc

A lot people will stop asking about levels and %s

So how is it with losing skills on your main when you subclass. GMs ingame say you lose your skills if you delevel, drake said you dont. So how is it really. What is the level difference at which you start losing skills? Do you lose only 3rd class skills? Dont know, got different answers ingame.

Wow, the skills we won't lose will be pretty MP expensive skills on lv 40 then - crappy for XP, good for PvP.
Personally I would prefer losing all skills according to level and relearning main class skills for 0 SP on proper level, but I guess current system is not a big obstacle anyway.

Thats useful information but does not answer the question if the normal Dlvl skill removal when losing a high number of levels applies, or if we keep all our skills we had on main class.
