If you don't want to lose any skills subbing at 78, do it at 56,3% +.
Subbed myself today at 56,88%, it deleveled me to lvl68 7%

U lose every skills from 3rd +some skills from 2rd but for me, best way to taking sub is doing it on 78,60% >68-69lvllvl

Or eventually,  wait day or two and buy premium horn at donation npc. If you use this horn you loose no exp .

so, you said that there will be no exp boost as donation but you make a horn that keeps ALL your exp? (this isn't a boost, it's a HUGE boost)

Why You qq about premium horn in donny ?
It's very good idea. What You want at donny ? S grade +16 ?
You can lvl up more or buy premium horn. Sounds ok.
There must be some donation. If You don't want any donation You can open Your L2 server, pay bills, gather many players and be charitative organization.
Life is brutal, nothing is for free. They must pay bills.

Agreed. May feel a bit unfair to the early nolifers but not that much. I mean who really subbed till now to get hurt by that...

+ I heard from Mercy that some guys that subbed early and lost skills before it was corrected in the official announcement notes that you lose them, contacted GM and he gave them back. So that there was fair approach.

It could have been announced earlier, so perhaps I do not care cause it did not hurt me but W/E, I'm OK with it.

+1. They just should have announced it before people subbed and they were willing to donate for that horn ^^

Screw the premium Horn. Give us normal Horn (or both with difference of 30 euros :D), but tomorroooow - main class only is so boring.

As far as donations are going to be  something you can naturally achieve in game , it'll always be fine. Just don't bring those DNET retarded stuff and you wont piss people off.

We are really careful to keep Tarantula extremely fair (for both donators and normal players) and balanced!

I fully agree. It is extremely fair indeed, because donating still doesn't give donators anything. :)

If you want to make good balance between normal players and donators, DO NOT MAKE DONATOR COINS TRADEABLE, really as an old player I know how DC changed the economy to whole server and later became the main currency on the server.

The reason was not the donator coins but the inflation of adena.
Adena became fast worthless as it was dropping too much and too fast and when we noticed that we was already beyond the turning point.
On tarantula we are much more careful on that (that's why the stepper curve in the dynamic rates) as we prefer make adena maintain his value.

Thats not the whole truth I feel.

Dunno about Dragon, but on infinity the economy was healthy until summer 2007 when it got hit by hlapex exploit and tons of adeans were duped. It happened really fast. Week when it got widespread and it was doomed. That got never fixed even tho we even had community meetings suggesting most fair way of fixing ( I know I was there, but Huristic could not do it and you did not come to help us )... and half the community left. Me including. Adeans were so worthless that people had to use dony coins cause you could not pay in adena anymore. Thats how it happened, not by dropping from mobs.

So far Tarantula has been doing fine and Whole DN administration is doing better then ever. So... I guess this time, if we experience similar exploit, you will be here to... help us. Right? Well I'm sure about it.  just wanted to mention that on infi the economy failed from week to another after being healthy for 2 years cause of exploit, not wrongly set rates.

+1 for this, I don't want to end having to used DC for buy stuff :|

This and the adena exploits maked Infinity to lose all the people that worked hard.

Yes, even worse as they are enchanted (higher magic level = higher level required for subclassing without lose them) (it applies the usual rule 10 level difference)
