All Big clans with S grade make last hit, respawn window is too long also every golky give 1-2 horns wtf?
I see people hitting golky with already sub..

Dont mention about dynamic exp. This is just a joke. Smaller level mobs give better xp than same level mobs or bigger.YOU CANT MAKE DYNAMIC ON L2, SCRIPTS ARE FAIL.

Looks better, now:
- Golky is about luck, nothing to do with S grade. Pure luck, just like craft, enchant, drops, so everything in this game.
- Rates are low because long term it is better for the server, there are plenty of mid-high rate servers for those who prefer to hit the endgame in 2 weeks, or simply has no time for 3x rates.
- Probably you are missing this too: on lv78, you lose 1,5% base exp on death, 0,75% with clan hall res, bishop res gives back all exp.

as you can see the quantity of horns and the speed of people subclassing is perfectly matching (the amount is flat-stable and doesnt have a trend going neither down or up).
From this i can conclude the respawn rate is perfectly matching our server rates and players' population.

Let me give you a hint:
Make full party > get buffs > spam aura flare / use orcs for last hit
Acutally there is like 60+ppl on every q golky. As I have seen so far only Wolfes mains/Enclave orcs/SF orcs are starting golky, other ppl just camping for last hit. I wonder how would you kill it without that "omfg big clans"

yea bro,we even beat the RNG.
IMO Quest Golks should be 1 Quest Horn for last hit and 1 Quest Horn the pt with higher damage.
Last week we were in golks and no 1 start for over 40 minutes.... we started with a archer hitting and running while we heal with EE...... onlys us hitting golk until 30% left...... can u image how borring was that? When it dead..... ty god we got the horn for out pt...... could imagine how would we be frustated with we dont get it?
more horns=less donations.
premium horn > simple sux horn

It would be nice if those who hit the quest golkys would get some reward.
For example each time when you hit the quest golkys, and the golky dies, you get an item called "fragment of longhorn" and 50 of these would make a full quest longhorn. So if you participate in killing 50 golkys you get a horn from the fragments, but only if it's the first horn of that char. If it's for subclass, you don't get fragment.
That would be more fair to players who killing golkys since weeks, but never got the horn.

Imo idea is not bad but it should be scalled from the % of dmg u did to golky in overall as party
For example one golky is 100fragments,
3 parties are hitting it, one pt was attacking is solo for the long term took in overall 80% hp, and the rest 2 parties did around 10%~ dmg in the very last seconds.
That mean first party got (divided between party memebrs) 80 fragments (thats almost 9 per player) and the rest got around 1~ each.
This fragments could be tradable/exchangable in some currency.
If it would be only for main class sub i think it could be a nice idea overall.

still all have fair chance for it, u cant change it that the people with gear will always have higher chance, this change would bring more horns on the market and another way to obtain it.
I am already working out a solution that goes based by amount of damage and not by "last hit", problem is that in IL engine it works correctly for real drops but absolutely not for items handled directly by AI (items that goes straight to your inventory).
Anyway i would still remind you guys that the TOI golkie have much shorter respawn than normal and that horn IS a normal drop not following the "last hit" rule.

And I yet remind you again, that bigger clans + nobless and yet more advantage on that one lol. Its even worse. Without taking the fact that is alot harder to kill.

TOI golky is always farmed by the biggest clans (mostly by farmclub sometimes excidium) who selling the horns on market, others get PK.
And actually non-noblesses don't have time to go to toi 10...

Because in dragon without buff and no party i got lucky to do last hit and got the horn bit unfair for those who are there all day with party and in last sec someone arrive and give last hit and get horn :P

please dear god drake add 9+9 horn to quest g0lky's. 9 to last hit party + 9 to most dmg partys and if there is less ppl in party share those 9 horns in party also if 4 ppl in pt 2 horn each one +1 extra to lucky one :D.

good point, just make quest golky drop some soulbound item that can later be traded for horn at some npc... but srsly we went golky and no1 killing it till 30%, had to wait like 1 hour :D
There are many horns for sale, farm anything and buy them.
Since golkondas give 2 quest horns make one for most DMG done and other last hit?

Another QQ post, started by ppl who come to low rate servers and expect to have everything ezpz.
My cp plays here from day 1, we'r in a big clan, we are active and still 4 of us dont have Horn.
We go to Golkys as every1 else, and it is as hard for us as it is for every1 else.
Ofc if u dont join a clan and u rather be alone on ur shell farming 24/7, u'll get to this point where u cant sub cuz u cant even make a proper buffed 9 ppl party.
Every1 else who's able to make that party and havent got the horn, just keep trying. Its all about luck....
I can be a S grade destro and hit 42354235 damage on golky, but if i leave him with 300 HP inbetween hit's and u hit him, u win, I lose. Is that easy...
Plz do not come up with anything that may screw things up.
This golkys already result in a server with no wars at all. cuz no1 wants to be bothered at golkonds by wars.
And it is a ridiculous and complex idea the one that u get fragments... for god sake! Once in ur life accept how things are, and get it done. Don't expect ppl to make it easier for u.

It's not that i care much about farm of horns but i would like to remind a time of c-3/c-4 of Dragon server when we were Golkondas per day in order to get a chance. What i am saying is that beeing a sub-class was smth like "end game" not a major condition for playing at all. How much do you guys playing on this server? 2 month? And we already have S gr weapons/ top A gr sets & more then 60 subbed chars + alot of nobless. Ofc it's hard to get/ ofc top clans are getting major part of money but this is how game working. As better team you have than better chance you have to get gear. And ofc you allways should have a possibility to do it in solo but it should be much harder.

also there was possibility to farm 25 or so lunargents and trade with mammon merchant for horn so.. :P

That was already end of IL period.
C1-C4 there was just TOI.
IL there was mostly just TOI, then just before (few months) the switch to HB i putted the 4 extra golkies because around 30-40% of server was already subbed and they was basically owning the TOI area, making (really) impossible for any new player to complete the quest (and this way keep the edge in PVP/Oly/Sieges)

how come we remember about stuff in your server and you dont?
on dragon there was AT LEAST one at Daimon rb npc in woa (i used that to sub a char,and it was still c4)

Well, i have backups of my scripts from each chronicle.
How come in C4 i have no quest golkies in the scripts, same for the early (first day) of IL, but i have them in the backup from last 6 months of IL? :D

as far as i remember (but i might be wrong) the golky in woa was dropping horn,not quest (i'm sure it was c4, cause i stopped playing at the end of c4-beginning of IL)

I think then it was few months during IL what you saw.
When i putted the extra golkies they was dropping the horn (same as TOI), then became quest item.
Then i added a full quest path in late IL but was never enabled (it was giving Horn of Fairies or a name similar, if someone do have old backups of client can find it in itemname-e around 6 lines under normal horn... it was a long lv68 to lv76 quest but was then scrapped and never released for reasons i cant remember)
On infi it was C4. The change came in the days of C4 but came with the move from C1 beta based server core to full C4 core.
I was subbing in spring 2007, so mid C4 era, and we already had more golkies. I know for sure there was also one in WOA and also in south near heine. But before that in C3 when there was no way to make the lvl except Kariks and the single golky up there... yeah yeah those days.
On infy there was toi golky, woa golky, anghell waterfall golky, and maybe around heine.

In C4 there were more cows too. I subbed at Ancient Battleground ;D next one was near Heine. But those 2 were added after sub wipe, before was only in toi.

on dn it was Woa/It/Angel/near toi.
Y there were like more quest cows during c3-c4 + toi one so in c3 was Ancient Battleground / Heine / Toi in c4 was Woa / Angel waterfall / Heine / Ketra some time and Toi.
