I guess probably 1. because mutants are low level, bad skill enchant and no FS, and 2. because mix between nuker and support is not the optimum in a good party

You can't choose better when it comes to pve with sps/ee (retail chars can reach just 80, so i consider them just as support chars), you get self recharge, heal and dmg. When it comes to pvp there are simply better chars, its not like this char is useless, or totally bad. For playing in pt and thinking of pvp is much better play as sps/tk you still get tons of heal but additionally you get high survive abilities which help you much more then self recharge.
