I am a really new player here and considering to donate but as I saw no one even buys coins on market, for adena I mean. I there some obvious reasons for someone to donate? I mean any other then just supporting the server?

People do buy donate coins, If you make a sell shop with a decent price you'll sell some and have adena to start.
You can also buy 30% exp runes for coins and level up faster.
