Sony Vegas settings

I know a lot of ppl here use sony vegas studio to make some movie.
I wanna know what is the best settings for this program, best quality video and music with few file capacity  (i have vegas pro 9.0)
-template (NTSC, PAL DV etc)
-frame size
-format video
-audio format and atribute
etc.

I hope this informations will be helpfull for others ppl/directors
