Golden box in char lvl number

why sometimes lvl number of my char is into a golden box?

Depends on the client you use ,it's mostly some chronicle's feature and has nothing to do with anything than visual side.At least of what i know.

Same client : one char have it golden one have it normal - withotu shine.

i can have two chars on in same place, one with this and one without. ive also had it appear when im sitting in town doing nthg.

Well i have shine allways
.... soo dunno (no rb, instance's - so I quess it's not this option)
