for linux user on DNet (work or not)

Hello,

      I play on dnet on linux (test phase).I have a request for the other linux player can you post your config an all bug you have UNDER linux.

ex:
wine version:1.5.11
graphic card :GeForce GTX 285
sound card:
kernel:3.2.12-gentoo
playonlinux: yes/no
distrib: ubuntu/gentoo...
bug:when i try to use/delete/equip items from my inventory The client crashes

i used to runn it for a while on Ubuntu 11 and 12 but seemed too much of a hastle with the fonts... i say that beacuse every time ubuntu updated i had to manually install the fonts needed for L2.. also another problem i faced was the fact that it was running laggy (and this was in GF) don't know why...

you have try with or whitout playonlinux?
what is your graphics card and wine version ?

This is the machine i used to runn it on only it has a 512 ATI Radeon video crard+shared memory  ... w/o playonlinux .. only wine can't remember version, but what i can tell you is that i had big problems with video card drivers... i found smt on a forum some command lines to be able to downgrade the driver from a beta update and needed to instal font...

If playing with an ATI graphics card, there will be some settings that won't work.
Under certain circumstances, system-freezes with no apparent reason can happen.
   
on linux you have two drivers: the open-sources provided by xorg-x11 and  closed source drivers provided by AMD I do not know about ubuntu which he uses.

use playonlinux for fixing that and playonlinux you can choose a wine version and option for each game
  lineage 2 on dn requiert 1.5.11 or later (wine version)
