Updater error

DEAR GMS!

At last 2 weeks i try contact with you. I sent pm, fourm pm, i made post on forum [ has been deleted from the forum ](?)
I have a big problem with my updater ( my two friends have same problem too).
After i installed freash and clean lineage 2 interlude client, i used the patch what i found on the forum.
ANNDD BAMM!!!
Not working, i got various error messages. I thought i'm the sucker retard, so made again. Delet l2---> install l2---> patch--> AND F*K Error.
I repeated it four times and i gave it up. Go to old fashion SYSTEM --> l2.exe (many crashez, non updated, nothing new, for "lozah" as me it's
good....)

Server opend or not?! I don't know, because i still can't login.

Reply something usefull, please.

Two solutions:

- Run launcher as administrator

OR

- put the game in a folder that have write permission for users!!! (i guess you putted it in C:\Program Files and latest versions of windows dont really like if something writes there with users privileges!)

So you solved?

To be honest, simply take that Lineage II folder you have in Program Files and throw it in C:\Games\L2

No more permission issues (if still, make sure you let that folder be users writable!)

Alternatively there is always the easy way of "run as administrator" (but i'm not a fan of it)

I solved, i got l2 system from a friend. BTw i ran as admin, thant still i got error, cuz something missed.

If it cant even write the ini file (in same folder) means there is really some weird (strict) permissions on that folder (aka: read only)
Of course patcher cant patch what system prevents to write!

Please override the whole folder to "writable" (you will need to change all child files of the folder too, is a bit hidden in windows permissions window)
