The books have (usually) equal chance to drop but it's still random. You might get 10 of one book before you get 1 of another. We experienced this farming in ivory tower, enchanted valley, and again at frozen labyrinth. It's sucky sometimes, but you'll get it eventually. Now if that benediction spellbook would just drop ...
