I*nstallation giving me nightmares

Is the guide on the frontpage still relevant? I followed the steps and links but I'm getting a critical error when I try and run the game

Now I'm getting  general protection fault! Does this mean anything to anyone?

Oh! Wait! If you dload patch from frontpage, it's not the one for those servers. Try this:

This error tends to go away by itself after a few fullchecks and a computer restart

If not..... Wait for some real knowledge to come around^^

You should try to delete "system" folder, then make full check.

If that doesn't help download again lineage from another source 'cos probably some of your files are corrupted (CRC32 error) History: UOrcMove::CalculateCRC32 <- 1.510000::0 <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine'

well InitEngine got CRC fail .. there are some causes why u got that :

- Download Fail
- Viruses
- Bads on HDD..

UOrcMove::CalculateCRC32 <- 1.510000::0 <- UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine'

1. Uninstall Lineage 2
2. Re-Download Patch
3. Restart Pc
4. install l2
5. go into l2 files and chance System into System_official
6. install new downloaded patch
7. launch from launcher
8. Full check
9. full check again
10. Start the game
11. if error persist
12. uninstall l2
13. re-download l2 from a site in your country.

Crap.. i got the same problem.. dunno what to do anymore... i really want to play lineage again.. daa fack im stuck with aion.. .. since i dunno how to fix this crap...
