can someone share his knowledge about intel i3 processors , cause i wanna buy new pc  and i found for about 400 euros this configuration :

Procesor:  Intel Core i3 -540 (3.06GHz,4MB, 32nm)
Memorie RAM:  4GB DDR3
Hard Disk:  500GB S-ATA Seagate,7200rpm, 16MB
Placa video:  NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS
Memorie Video:  1GB DDR3 dedicata
Placa de baza:  Gigabyte H55M-S2 Intel® H55 Express

is this good ( in this price ) ... could be better ? how about quad core processors ? graphic gard is good ? etc

invest some euro in better graphics (like radeon 6850/gf 460 or better), since this one sux hard.

ooo.thx for info .. but the processor is good ? i3? cause i google it and many ppl tell that it's even lower then quad core ...

wtf am i asking..... all i wanna know ... can i play sieges without lags ? cause it's the only game that  i play ...

GPU - ATI HD 5770 DDRIII HDMI DDR5 PCI-E DP ( if you have more money can buy  GTX460/ATI 6XXX)
PSU 550W+
With this pc you will play all new games , and no lag at siege's

last graph will show u a performance/$$$$ comparison
lower is better (for what u pay) so.... if u need a 4core .... best performance/$$$$$ is pehnom II  (i won't consider athlon)

core i5 2500 is outstanding.... but it's "quite" expensive (200$ )


if u are not in hurry.... in 30 days bulldozer will be shown also....

(but i thinkn phenomII x4 is best option if u are REALLY in hurry)

if u gonna use i5 or superior... DO NOT USE 4gb for crist sake...  its 8gb +++++
i have i5 760.. and i had 4gm dual channel, now i have 8 dual... and pc is like... NEW.. monster perfomance ...

another tip is Carfull with power source.... dont be stupid ... and buy soemthing like  750w more and be carfull to have at +12 at least 60A ...

about Video? atm im using a GTX 550 TI  951 / 1903 / 2178     OC to 1051 / 2150 / 2600  what to say ?  sometimes i have 400 frames , like in giran isalnd... sometimes 110 in aden  but  usuly 60 in all action, with exception for aden siege that drop to 30/40

personal recomendations for AMD: NEver in any case take seriers with xx30 they are the worse..
series with xx50 are  +/-   series xx70 are from normal to good  and the best are xx90

i liked the idea of piccy from 6870  but i would go for a gtx 500+++ series
