Why this server so Lagyyyyyyyyyy/discuss

This freezes also hapened to me and some friends. Seems it happens to random people. One thing I dont get, is that my char stays stoped, buffs couting down to 0 stay in 0 and don't go away, and I dont get DC message, but my friends do. My char for another m8s just stay there still, even with me spamming skills.

to be even more accurate it happens to certain l2 boxes , purely for example I had dualbox , and my main char got frozen i switched box and my buffer was completely fine while my main was frozen , personaly I find it realy weird
I dont know much about online servers games data centres and so on , but is it possible that called lag or frozen is caused by on going "saving char progress" ?

Not only EU3 makes you freeze, got it on every EU subhost.

is it obvious even for me that i'm in italy? every evening is like that.

I think the problem is not with network, but with the server. It seems that the admins didn't expected so many players(however this number will fall, if they continue the fixing (nerfing, bad changes)), so the server hardware isn't enough to service them in peak times.

I live in Canada and I have a better ping in EU servers then on the us servers. Go figure. (I admit I live in the east, not the west. I dunno where the servers are in the US, if they are to the far south west, it could be logical)

which one would u advice me to use?

For south america i advise to use EU1 or EU2

How about in Asia Drake? What is the advisable server? I am also experiencing a heavy lag sometimes and in my Filipino Fellow as well, some of them leaving because of this heavy lag.

From asia i would say RU/RO/EU1

EU3 has much less ping for us than this 2...
