1) Blizzer announced his clan coming to the server long before opening
2) Most important , Syndicate clan name is taken by lvl 10 dwarf who played in total 20 minutes and never logged again, that very same clan doesn't even have any active member . So reasons why name is taken are obvious...

Stalingrad story much different, actually everything opposite from Syndicate. Also current Stalingrad is very much active , alive and recruiting members.
So im sorry but you cant compare these 2 things.
