Disable your antivirus,do fullcheck and log in.
I just did it for myself,was getting crash aswee but after disable my ant virus and ran fullcheck all worked.Disable it even if you have the l2 folder excluded already and try untill it works

its quite simple, if your loader gets stuck on downloading hb.dll means that your software (some antivirus,malware or some crap) is blocking it. You have to disable fully any external software and then try.
My kaspersky has no problems with those files. Anyhow, please do as explained above, it must work!

i wonder if people really would turn their AVs off only because some random guys on the internet said to do so lol

Purpose of your post is?

As in your link, major AV dont have any problem with our files. Kaspersky > all.
Anyhow, AV doesnt make any sense nowadays. If someone wants to bypass it he will do it in 1 way or another and on top of that programs can be designed to not be detectable by specific AV.

Usually when it says "Trojan.generic" is that the antivirus software has decided there is a label of code that "can be dangerous", not that it actually is. That's because the software antivirus can't decrypt or can't understand what that label means and so it decides you should be carefull. But my NOD32 has no problems with any of my L2 files downloaded from Dragon-network.net

I had the same problem yesterday. I think antivirus has absolutely nothing to do with it, since I have no antivirus running. The system folder from Evacuate plus a following full check worked though.

Well i had problem too... game crashed after update and refused to do full check again... so i turned avast off (dunno why that shiet turned itself back on anyway without my permission) and after that it full checked like normal... so yes antivirus definetly is screwing with dn launcher... if you dont have any maybe try turning windows firewall or something off dunno...
