The only thing left about them that "bugs" me is : can they be moved over directly under the username?  They seem a bit unbalanced off to the side like that.   (remember, most posts in this forum are all about "balance"...ROFL)

I don't think they need any more background, myself.
Just  centering would look better to me.  And, a little bit of shadows left gives them depth... looks more 3-dimensional, so I wouldn't remove ALL shadows.
