Yo Track you know I respect you much and this network to since a decade.
90% of ppl waited 7-8 months for update not for fresh start again.And believe me there's not 20 ppl.There 4-5 clans + ss2 + others more that waited so many months for update and you want them now to rage quit after they waited so much...That's why server was empty these months with 20 ppl like you said because all waited for update.
And its quite the opposite believe me fresh start will bring 20-100 ppl and update will bring the more.
So make a poll and you will see it with your own eyes 90% will want update not fresh start.
So again all the old ppl I know and clans start spam my topic for update and vote after Track makes poll don't rage quit now after so much wait we need to fight for our rights and we will get the update and the action/pvp we dreamed for.

Almost forgot Track you know it and I know it we are Dragon Network not some xx retarded servers who open/wipe every 2-3 months and you said it to with your own words long ago.
So ppl/community we should choose a day and hour like siege time dunno 22:00 23:00 gmt+1 ( most got other time in browser ) and log in game on giran stairs and spam for update to show Track how many we are.

One example : I'm gmt+3 so 22:00 23:00 gmt+1 will be at me 24:00 1:00 am

There won't be nothing much to sale except epics, since everything will be pretty easy to get i suppose. That's the point of pvp servers. Epics aren't even so mandatory on such servers, and it won't be possible to grab every single epic for months with nolife mode, before every1 catch up. "Nolifers"
MAY have the edge on the first round of epic bosses, but every1 will catch up for the other round. I've been playing on tons of pvp servers for about 2 years, so i pretty much know how they look like.

However, believe me that new server will bring a lot of populated clans and it will be mid rate pvp oriented server. I really prefer making something fresh and challenging than something what is beyond saving (*if we would really want to save it, we would have to wipe all the epics, coins, and some other things to bring back the challenge).

I understand your point of view Track after all it's your decision in the end.The thing is I don't give up easy and I know it will work else I wouldn't bother.And new ppl would catch up fast to the rest + many still have they're chars and items, but the chars they have it 100%.
Bound items s grade s80 by donation would make them compete with others since there won't be much farm since it will be pvp based only.
And for s80 items all will have to farm so there won't be big difference.
And about wipe you could wipe the items made this years since server died from january until now but I think it's not necessary any wipe since there wasn't so much activity... only if there's some inflation in some items during this start of year/months you can check that easy.
But a poll and a test like upgrade server with all the stuff you said and let it on for 2 weeks - 1 month to see the result.
Kabally me and SS2 will be back 100% and those other 4-5 (FC/108 dragons etc) clans like will have 1-3 parties.
All the clans/clan leaders that want the update should start posting here and how many parties they will have.
And start posting about the meeting in giran call all members here to find and hour at night.

Sventi =) Instand of type my name as Kavally trying to troll the almighty nickname,show some respect for the only one who did some struggle to keep it alive,i could be back,i see no problem then my non motivation to lose 10 hours,still i can organize clan to be there and ill be,but i know Tribal will hate it,yes new server would give more ppl and Tribal would love it as well,i have to be honest,i dont kknow if i wanna waste again 10 hours a day to play and sh1t,but i think i would give a try for sure.

I was talking with one guy today in game, and he told me that after big clans left he farmed all because before there was no chance to get aq or baium. Now he has got items ready to pvp with Big clans and Admins wants to wipe everything.
My idea is like before let the players take some items to new server or just upgrade Tara. It won't be a huge diference for big Clans and the community will not loose players.

Upgrade/update costs money and excessive amount of time. Im fine with time consuming part, however i am dont really like to spend time on something that has no future at all.
You can count on 2 hands people in this topic who said they will play on upgraded server, and if we theoretically add on that those 4 full parties (casual players, logging when there is action), we reach those 50ish players in total.
We will find way for less farming, no camping, pointing on pvp.
Track mate if you don't plan to update you could transfer database to new server simple.

Track in Lineage 2 the factor "farming" has to be balance because if it isn't it become as an High rate Server with things that you can get in 2 days. The point is: we don't want a server like this, Tarantula was good, farm wasn't so hard and in this new server it's useless that you said that we won't have to farm because is a LIE. You also know that a server without farming is like an High rate, so in this new server that you want to plan the factor farm there will be and this server will be like Tarantula but with a bigger rate than Tarantula and some features that you can simply add also on Tarantula. You are talking since months about your project and new server, but for now we see only useless words like the upgrade that you had promised but that has never happened. People destroyes their ass to farm things like me and you after months promising the upgrade say that you want to open a new server. The propaganda that you want to do in new server you can do also in this. If you want you can close this server for 3 months, make upgrade, remake a strong propaganda and after make a kind of re-open but with same things(maybe you can reduce the inflation to balance new people with old people) . I'm sure that if you open a new server, it will have 1k-1.5k people at start and after it will die like Titan. So will you make the same mistake? Isn't better to correct something there? Why don't you have to keep your promise? DN is know for the community that has never been wiped. But if you close this server, this community will lose this feature. What a pity that I always had fought without a RB SET(That I don't have also right now and a weapon +++) but if you don't understand because maybe you're retard is that start from 0 means that you have to level up, make quest, noblesse, retail, and dynasty/icarus weapons-armors and if you want to be competitive rb set(qa-baium enough for warrior) and weapon/armor ++ . So given that there aren't chance in your opinion and that you promised a upgrade that you don't want to do because you think that noone will come play you should make something that repair your mistake and time that people spent there. And this is the minium that you can do if you want people come playing in your new server and to get again the faith of your community that you're loosing closing this server. Why don't you copy all the character in Tarantula with level/class/quest but without items so new people won't be disadvantage than Tarantula's people. Or you can do something like this. You know that is the only chance to repair what you want to do to Tarantula..

could be a solution, make a beta test hellbound the old DB, if the population is in 30 days maximum suffice for that test to see whether new or old people connect, so no one loses, if connected over 50% + 1 New players, make the wipe, if on the other hand are 50% +1 of the old players, leaving the data intact

I'm not really into joining this argue, but I see those few constant ppl asking the same thing over and over. Let me tell you guys something, this is not a solution: transfer items to a fresh newly started server. Weirdest thing I've ever read. Be realistic, nobody of any new players would even bother downloading the patch or register an account.

Dude I will only say this why to bother? You guys will leave again after 1st 1-2 months when ppl reach your gear/lvl and kick ya asses than qq leave server and server goes empty of enemies n/c because you can pwn only ppl not subbed in d/c grade ( no lifer style ) =))
All who played here had/has chars/gear/epics etc it's your fking problem if you sold/deleted them.
And believe me the most important thing for most who posted here was the time wasted on server for chars/subs/quest etc not the items where the priority.
You know 90% got a life most are over 27 years.Not the rest 10% no lifers who jump from server to server and play 1st 1-2 months really pathetic.
P.S No hate just real stuff... happened 1 time don't want to see that sh1t scenario again... so I ask... why bother to spent time / farm again for what?

We had war vs all server no ally since summer until autumn.And 90% from clan farmed they items at epics/some donated etc so dunno what you saying.We beaten the zergs with 1-2 parties vs 3 sides all with ally so enough said all frapsed/screened I won't comment more.

Ok. This sentence right there is winning the "most retarded one ever" award. Enclave ever excisted on this server, cuz we helped them. We took them to the ally to help them gear up and have a worthy opponent and good pvp in the later stage of the server. That was basically the whole idea of enclave in our ally, since the first moment it was created. Sadly when server started becoming dead and we kicked Enclave from ally hoping that they can make another side they just left the server.
I do agree that the core party of Enclave was rly good. As they've always been on every single server we've ever played with or againt eachother. Rest was just a dumb meatshield. I still remember talking to Kodex on team speak and asking about his clan mates and he was like "i dont even know who he is, he's just making partys with another randoms and die first". Damn, i miss Kodex..

I think its rly painfull for me waste time during summer,still when i decide to give my best i gotta waste rly lot of time in l2,i didnt mean to do it,but as i said,i will maybe give a try if a new server open,i know my enemies will play in function of proof me that i cant "lead" a server ,still i dont give a fuk,i will play in function of my fun,and if i decide to waste time,i push 108 khamoon hardstylee etc,and we can do something good,still and i repeat it will depend of my motivation
