Archers vs Mages

Hello!

I was just wondering:

There will be no DNET set now, only Interlude sets. (S grade:  Imperial, Draconic and Arcana)
It means that, for mages, the most viable set is Dark Crystal, A grade.

I think that, on later game, when most of ppl get high lvls, and good equip, archers are going to be a lot superiors.

What you guys think?

(The main point of this thread, is just because I want to decide my char.)

not really, 2100 cast speed cap > all sps will be wearing major arcana... maybe even other summoner subbed chars since they will have that way nice defense and high dps (talking about nukers)

yeah and with MA they will have much more defense vs archers. that's how interlude was made, so... play what you think it's the best

Arcana set is totally useless. I prefer dc robe set+6 on my mage char wich is far better than Arcana, imo casting speed is better that pdef in a mage char.

All I said is that there is reason why MA armor was improved later and that's because it's useless at Interlude and no one will be using it. You need to take some stress pills mate.

yeah, I Thought the same about the casting, but i dont remember well because I stopped long time ago.

SpS/EE on full buff + malaria + 4WIT dye + 2x emp tatoo of witch. 
Can it reach 2k at least using Major Arcana? MA doesnt give any Casting speed boost (only +1wit) while DC set +15% casting and +2 Wit.
