Some info for a beginner

Hi folks!
I started here 2 days ago, I read through the features and stuff but as a lvl30 dark wizard i just want to know how things are going here. First of all, what should i choose for 2nd class, PS or SH? I know both well, but im used to mid-high rate srvrs with mana pots and npc buffers so im a lil confused.

Second, what are the best stack combos for PS and SH (or should i start other char?) I heard about the Deflect Arrow nerfs etc. but never ever tried this kind of server. Surfing on the forum im interested in PR/PS, PS/SK, SH/PS. Are these comps decent? What if i stack my main PS with PR, on oly i must play with mage stats(INT,WIT,...)?

Third, should I start lvling a buffer for myself or are there ppl actually selling buffs? What is the best overall buffer for a mage if i decide to start one? SE, EE, PP, WC?

And last but not least, im bored to play alone; so what are the most common places where I meet ppl?

About your question, i'd say you can choose whatever you want, better choose SH at first becouse is easier to lvl it up. After you get the horn, you can sub it to PS.
On Tarantula server you have an improved tatoo system, wich gives an optimized gameplay to players.
The best combos for PS is SH or PR, and for SH is PS or SE. About Deflect arrow, it has been improved signifcantly. Imo PR/PS and SH/PS are good, but no PS/SK. To sub a PS to PR is good, but do it the other way: PR/PS (is faster).
Yes, is a good idea to start a supporter, but i'd say two supporters: a PP and a BD.
On DNET you can find people everywhere, ofc Giran, Aden, and also Varka, Goddard, Dino Island and in every town sieges! Good luck!

If you go for SH, you should make an EMPelder box (some newbies also call it Shillien Elder, dunno why), if you go for PR, PP box is better of course.

Doesn't matter if you start as mage or as fighter, you can always choose what stats you wanna be on after sub. So if you make a PS/PR, you can switch between nuker and fighter stats, it doesn't affect your quest/oly/whatever status, only the skill learning. You can learn skills only for the class that you are on.

Farming with PS might be easier, but not faster, than farming with PR - considering that a clean PS would find party/clan much harder, than a PR.
However, I said 'I don't recommend'. If he is familiar with PS, and don't mind it's speed, and planning to solo all the way, it is decent choice.

Thanks guys for the answers. My bad, didnt even check the Clan Section.
So im decided to lvl up a PP, and see how fast i can exp/farm with PS. If its too slow i might reroll to PR.

The only bad thing its x10 srvr so i cant try all the combinations i want. Its like eating in a chinese restaurant; when they already served your food only then you realise you should choose what they eat at the next table.
