Title: Augmentation
Post by: underweaver on April 23, 2008, 10:51:10 AM
Adding an Augmentation

To augment your weapon you will need a Life Stone of appropriate level and Gemstones. Then go to the blacksmith in town and he will do the trick. The outcome is random so you don't know what addition you will get and after that the weapon cannot be traded/dropped any more. But if it's a high grade stone it will give a glow to the weapon - looks fancy :)

Here is how it goes:

1. Get the items needed - the weapon for sure, Life Stone and Gemstones; in one case 25 C gems were needed, in another example it required 20 D gems to augment a C-Grade War Axe.  You can find out how many you need by starting a refinement without it, dragging the weapon and Life Stone, and it'll tell you how many you need.

You can augment your weapons at the blacksmith in Shuttgart castle town. Just go there and talk with the blacksmith, pick up the augmentation option and drag the weapon, the life stone and the gemstones needed for the process!

There are four possible results after the augmentation, basicly its pure luck ,same as enchanting a weapon or armor! You can recognize the quality of the augmentation by the color of the options that u received. This is how it goes

Yellow letters   : The lowest level of augmentation success, no glow of the weapon and 1-2 options added to your weapon, this type can give you only stats modifier and no passive or active skills!

Blue letters : Second level of augmentation, again stats modifier 1-3 options, very low possibility of an active skill bonus. Low probability of any glow!

Pink/Purple letters : Mid-grade augmentation, good probability of any active/passive skills!Certain chance to get a glow! ~2-3 stat modifiers will be added.

Red letters : The best possible outcome of augmentation : very good stats modifier, high chance of active/passive skills added to the weapon! Almost 100% glow effect will be added!

Each life stone has a level which determinate what level of active or passive skill will you add as a bonus ,here is the table :

Life stone level                                 Skill level
46                                                           1
49                                                          2
52                                                          3
55                                                          4
58                                                          5
61                                                          6
64                                                          7
67                                                          8
70                                                          9
76                                                         10

In another words : if u have level 52 life stone,u will get skill level 3 ,life stone level 76 - skill level 10!

Here is a list of all possible stats modifiers, active and passive skills that can be applied as an augmentation! :

heh... "WE WANT SKILLS/WEAK RB/NERF MAGES(if u dagger/archer)/DAGGERS(if u mage/archer)/ARCHERS(if u dagger/mage)/X-MANS(if u fear some troubles and can only kill mobs)/WE CANT TAKE HORN/PATH OF NOBLES SO HARD/200x - HARD EXPING, BLA BLA BLA Mr.Freeman!" u think so many ppl play here, becouse they get all in first day on this server  ??? hah! go on any java-"pvp" server, with x10 000 rate and safe enchant for +100 etc... 3-5 days and u leave from this java, becouse any noob have all what have old player  :(

about skills - i spend something about 60-70 LS 76 lvl Top grade, only 1 time get +1 CON im my AM+A... i dont think its so bad. Think about oly, ppl will take tonns of weapons with active skills :) its funny? full buffed sh/sk, or sh/bd, or sps/ee with EMPower and other good stufs on oly... its not good for gameplay i think... its something like safe enchant +16 - first week 98% of server happy, after first week - half server say "rollback or bb, DN!"...

when u get all easy its dont make u happy.. isnt it?

I saw chance skill on physical critical attack, Item skill paralyze, working good in olympiad on arena server.
Maybe I didn't check properly or it's just got fixed lately.

I'm sorry if someone believed my reports and deleted any good augment skills before one's own testing.
All details relating to chance skill is now strikethroughed to prevent unnecessary confusion.

I will put "time stamp" at every single report from now (if I would mention something specially.) Also please remember that there can be changes at anytime (specially on newly added features.)

Active

Heal Lv. 4 - Power 393
Working as self-healing skill. Cannot be used on town npcs. Cannot be used on other character. Even while targeting other char, healing effect appears on caster.

Fear Lv. 4
Low chance to land on high lvl PC (due to the skill level ?) but working. In PvE, it seems working good even on 80+ mobs.
1 vs 1 Duel is interrupted when fear effect lands.

What's the casting speed of that self-heal? And fear too?

Augment skill Heal Lv. 4 is same skill as Elemental Heal Lv. 36 (Lv. 55 elven fighters). It's enough quick on mystic status.
Augment Fear is same as skill Fear of mages.

Both skills are working as magic skill (as long as I checked)

i have a question, only Top Ls glow? or High grade LS also can glow?

Ppl says that only top can, but i have read that others can.... can anyone explain this to me?
Title: Re: Augmentation
Post by: SpectralMaster on February 05, 2009, 03:30:55 PM
Top LS have 100% chance to glow, while High ones have lower chance, depending on the strenght of the augment.

Post by: zl4y3r on February 06, 2009, 03:17:41 PM
yea like SpectralMater saied

Life Stone = no glow
Mid = no glow
High = pretty high chance for glow
Top = always glow

QuoteThere are 4 grades of stones: Normal, Mid-Grade, High-Grade, and Top-Grade. High and Top Grade will add the additional animation to a weapon. High grade is a weaker effect, while top grade has a stronger effect

I have to disagree with this, cause one time I get glow by mid-grade. Don't know if I've got somewhere pic of it, but it was light colour, almost white with stars.  ::)

Can someone tell me about Top/High LS below 76 lvl? Its existing on DN? Any drop list?
Title: Re: Augmentation
Post by: Finisterre on January 21, 2010, 04:05:29 PM
@WMjedi
Lower Top/High stones are only from lower epic raids (zaken/orfen/core) or via donator coins. You can refer official drop calculator for those.

Thanks for answer. But in other drop calculators low lvl LF can drop from f.eg. Cave Servant - Top Life Stone 46 lvl - chance c.a. 1/2000. My question is: On DN its in the drop list regular mobs like Cave Servant or only in drop list bosses?

Have you got any from regular mobs ? That might be a good answer for WMjedi.

@WMjedi
You can refer the drop item list but the rate is adjusted to fit to server feature.

Each life stone has a level which determinate what level of active or passive skill will you add as a bonus ,here is the table :

Life stone level                                 Skill level
46                                                           1
49                                                          2
52                                                          3
55                                                          4
58                                                          5
61                                                          6
64                                                          7
67                                                          8
70                                                          9
76                                                         10

In another words : if u have level 52 life stone,u will get skill level 3 ,life stone level 76 - skill level 10!
so which lvl will be with lvl 80 life stone? sooon :)
