She is actually right, it is impossible to merge the, lets say, 3 original DN servers (Dragon, Nightmare, Infinity)
It was suggested to Drake multiple times and we talked about it a few times as well (since at first I didn't know why I couldn't be done either) Drake said that in theory it is possible, but it would require a huge amount of work and time, as all items and characters would collide, the 3 databases use the same system, so the entire systems would override each other and simply collide on each possible front. The most simple problem is the amount of nicknames that would be the same that all need to be changed or fixed in some way or another, the same goes with a lot of item codes and so forth.

And for you as well Furesy, merge is possible, if drake is an epic retard lazy ass mofo, it doesn't means it's impossible . It is possible and NCSoft did that already . It's quite easy if drake knows he's programing that is. Seems he became kinda dumb, or lazy, or even both, and he just simply doesn't care.
A script for the names is , again a rather easy thing to do. Adding a NM to all chars from a certain NM db, and so on, wouldn't be a problem for drake, the almighty coder. A CH / Fortress / Castle reset, again wouldn't be a problem , and for freaks sake, what does system has to do when all he needs is to take the chars from 2 servers and move them on the 3ed? He needs time for what? To  set up a schedlue  click some shit and go wank as he usually does? Zomfg, he just fooled you Furesy.

I don't think merge would be  a good idea. The rates are not the same...
Making wipe on all of them and then create a new server is another thing! That would work I think. But the donators would cry rivers about that...

Well, I would've expect you and drake, already know that, criers, will be the whole time around us. Now they cry that servers are dying, if he does that, again, wtf bla bla bla bla.
Problems, yes of course after all it's not a 1+1 = 2 operation, but impossible, let's be real, it is not by far impossible.
He coulde'ev done that before Valkyrie went up or on he's test server, I guess he still has it , and after that, an upload on a central server.
Numbers do tell the truth , you got Infinity, Dragon and Nightmare , 3 servers, 3 machines , 3 times more money for the host while it's more economical to merge them, if he don't have the money to open a new machine server.
A less populated server will bring less money due to the boring and loosing the server feeling, having an 2k server would bring more action, more enthusiasm and more donations.
I believe you that he dosn't care about L2, I think the same, but I do think he cares about the income he get's from here. I know I did some nice money, and that was as a player, I don't even want to know the real numbers, I might get jealous
So getting back to the subject, as I said in the previous post, and you kinda admitted it, he can do it but he won't.
P.S. He won't wipe a server to make this merge because....? He wants the servers to die and he can say " I never wiped my servers! " ? That is one retard owner lol.
