but why turnin off ss when using aug skills instead of just making the reuse longer :o
not sure how that's a good fix, in oly the problem isnt the augment (u need 200years to kill someone without it anyway)
problem is that the classes with that augment cannot die usually (healer/buffer subs) so they win at the end when opponent has no mp/hp/skills left (well these days its quick since in 10s opponent has 0 mp). sometimes, opponent even win the match due to higher damage and timeout.
that's just a bit better than healer-buffer/dd (traditional sps/ee) which has much better attack skills and hits much stronger.
yet they all win with just a few things:
- mana burn being so op (everyone says so, so no need to deny)
- blizzard landing rate (since archers sux in oly - even with icarus, theres no other long range than mages)
- celestial augment (nvm its fixed now)
other spells are strong and debufs too but they land like 50% of the time and 3 mcrit in a row in oly is quite unlucky :)
sux when u get symphony crit/vortex/vortex crit all in a row but.. well it happens to me xD

Its not a flame, but now you will have to do what people without xx coins to spend on augs have to do, make a char that is actually ment to be a DD.

So donny sells dragon network armors for coins. Players spend coins and buy em. Would u wake up a morning and cut all the ++ each armor gives ? Prolly no.

That is the only sensible thing you said there. If you hadn't just spent coins getting the aug, im pretty sure you would have agreed with the nerf also.

Well I was watching ol tonight, even after the nerf Altheo beat WhiteJack (sps/ee right), and White didn't even cast one spell on Altheo because of mana burn lol. Then he just let the pony do the dirty work (Wind would love that).
Imo the oly farmers will exist until mana burn is nerfed :/

I never had 100% win rate, but there were times, at the end of c4/beginning of IL (when i got hero stats) when i had like 70%/30% win rates. That was pretty much farming oly for me. I never played every night, but i managed to get 67 points in 2-3 days and secure hero in ES class. I guess back then if i would have farmed daily i could have got like 300 points or smth, around the ammounts of points Tomek had in the same period on his heroes. I remember we had similar win rates, hence the comparation.
So yeah, i wasnt an oly farmer with 99% or 100% win rates and sorry, i had a life, i wasnt on every night on olympiad. So if that is what makes an oly farmer, then ok, i was never one. Satisfied?

well didn't mean to offense you but still.... do you really think you had competition back when you were hero on sps/es ? the mere fact you said you ve been hero playing oly 2-3 days says there was none.

DarkFall donated for a a rb set and am+a+10 so he had the best mage gear in NM. Sure he could win vs some people with that gear but the skilled players farmed the shit out of him so he left NM after a few months ;D

The highest enchanted Icarus weapons are +10, for both mage and archer, one is owned by Yoda and the other is Johanna's.

Since HB I'm the owner of Darkfall char, but I haven't really played it much xd
The highest enchanted Icarus weapons are +10, for both mage and archer, one is owned by Yoda and the other is Johanna's.

Dude he never even had over 1k points since he was not one of the farmers here on NM, i believe he never even had over 500 since when i won vs him i never got more than ~120 points from him.. And his second char besides darkfall was a bishop/necro but he got farmed by me and some other people too. The only people that had more than 1k points back than were libentina, goruul, emtee, freak2thebeat, hydralisk and me. Ownage and sofaraway probably didnt even reach 1k points too since i usually took or lost his max and that was also about 130 points wich means he had arround 400 points.
